  Descripción

  We are a couple, aged 66 (Wim) and 60 (Dominique), and two nice big dogs, located close to the Mediterranean sea, in Muchamiel, near Alicante. A few years ago we bought our nice finca with olive trees, orange trees, etc., where we live now and enjoy it very much.
  
  There was quite a bit of overdue maintenance, we enthusiastically set about making everything beautiful again, and have done already most of the heavy, big work. Because Wim has some health issues, we are looking for Workawayers who can help out especially in the garden (depending on the season), and also with other maintenance and building tasks that still have to be done.
  
  Because Dominique works full-time at an office in Alicante, she helps out as much as she can.
  
  We also like to try food from other countries, so if you like cooking, that would be great. :-)

  The surroundings are very nice, and you can quickly get to the beautiful inland. The city centre of Muchamiel, the beach and the provincial capital Alicante are easily accessible by public transport. We have also bicycles available.
  
  We would love you to get to know our friends and join our activities. We can share construction tasks and other technical skills, and language skills. We would like to cook together and try food from other countries.

  Ayuda

  Wim has always done a lot of DIY in all kinds of areas, and would really enjoy doing things together with a Workawayer and teaching him/her things, but also learning from a Workawayer. For example, we would like to build a vegetable garden, but we lack the time and knowledge for this. Also, the existing swimming pool is in need of renovation....
  
  Gardening, light construction tasks, painting, carpentry, all meant to do together, and pleasant company. Also, if necessary, tinkering on our cars.

  Alojamiento

  Bedroom with bathroom, or if the Workawayer prefers, a caravan with a separate bathroom. We prefer to cook and eat together and have a nice evening together, if it fits. We offer three meals a day, and there is always enough food, drinks and fruit available.

  We have bikes available, city center from Muchamiel and supermarket at walking distance, beach and Alicante easily reachable by bus.
  
  Regarding the time of the meals, we prefer to agree on a time so that we can share the meals.
  
  Regarding helping hours: we can agree on that on a daily basis.

  We have a decent wifi-connection and you can work in the place we offer you to stay, in a private environment.

  We have space on our plot for campervans / motorhomes, and a bathroom in our pumphouse.

  It is not a good idea to bring cats because of our two big dogs, and because Dominique is allergic to cats. Other dogs would be OK. A horse or a donkey would also be nice by the way; Wim used to ride a lot when he was young.

  German Shepherd, very joyful and lifely dog. Likes to play with sticks and tree leafs.

  Lucky (10 años)

  Spanish Mastiff, very kind and quiet dog (quite old already :-)).
