*Need help with fencing Cow pasture~Clearing Trails ect.* Gardening and building Garden Boxes is my mission this Spring ;) Gotta get that Garden Rock'n this summer :) Growing food is so important and fun! and the reward is amazing to go out and pick something fresh from the Garden! :)

Spring/summer of 2025 . Carpentry skills would be a huge plus! building garden Boxs in the Spring to get the garden up and going .:) Love to have people with great sense of humor and can pitch in on making days fun and enjoyable. Love to see smiles :)
May/June we will be starting our Haying and then get the irrigation back going on the Field. So being able to help with irrigating would be so helpful. The second next project would be filling the Woodsheds. So helping with Fire wood.
We will be working towards building a Horse Shelter .. We like to make Life fun and rewarding when work gets done :) And are happy to learn from each other :) So if you have some great skills with anything we have planned "We welcome them! :D"
p.s again as i mention lower down as you read our profile ~ Would Love to have a fun person that is good at Videography and if you had a Drone that would be so so cool! I Love taking photos also so you will leave with many :D

Looking for the right fit that is o.k to entertain yourselves at times as i tend to be pretty busy with this that and everything else! ;) lol. .
We could have someone stay long term with some winter jobs if the fit was perfect ;) Sometimes winter can be just about getting the chores done and getting back in to snuggle up and keep warm and watch a Movie. But we do make sure we have those Fun in the Snow days in the mix :) Looking for someone that is o.k to entertain them selves at times as night falls we take in our quiet time when we can. So depending on the day it can be mostly spending time with the animals in stead of us ;) So we need someone that is kinda social but o.k to have there alone time too :) It's just nice to rest when we can and visit when it works for all. ,and we do make sure we make good days for that. just not everyday in the winter months as we loose our daylight so early.If you are already in B.C and close to our area that would probably be best. Thanks :) We would love to hear all about who you are :)~~ ~ .Well we will look forward to meeting you (New Friends) when the time is right. We Thank all that have come to pitch in and help us over the years. So enjoyed all the wonderful friendships we have made so far and look forward to many more! :) We like to surround ourselves with only positive people!, we have been very lucky with that so far! ;) We run a 415 acer ranch and are finding now we could use a little help. If there is someone interested in the beauty and the quietness the country lifestyle has to offer maybe our ranch maybe a place they can feel at home. We are very easy going and at most times try and be there for those who need help. . Most of our horses are not safe enough for our Workawayers~ .(Sorry if that is what you were looking for) We like to keep you safe ;) But for sure can do fun Photos with the Horses to take many memories away when you leave. And many of you have returned to be part of our family! Many visits from past Workawayers :) Love it when that happens! Lots of New areas to explore with the wilderness in our back yard. Anyways to give you an idea where we are ~~~ 5 Hours North of Vancouver / 1 1/2 North of Kamloops B.C / 3 Hours South/west? of Jasper . Great fun and lots to see! :D

Ranch Life gives many learning experience's. Very inportant to have experience already when it comes to jobs that could be dangerous to your well being. Everyday on a Ranch there can be new things to learn but most of all it is showing and teaching the hard work it takes to keep a ranch running and having healthly and loved animals. There is many things to learn we are willing to teach you what we know . Everyday is a new day on a Ranch and ya just never know what the day may bring :)

We are looking for a big animal lover- - We have many dogs :)-.
.We have been having workawayers since 2009 and we find it is one of the best things we have ever done. We have now had a lot workawayers stay with us over the last 16 years, a few of them keep coming back and most of them have keep in touch:) It has really gave us that true big family feeling.(for our little family of 3;) and many animals on the ranch that we consider our family members too:) It is always so hard for us to say good-bye to anyone when time comes for them to leave, but really it is just the beginning as we found out:) The lifetime friendships made have been just wonderful and we hope to always keep adding more. We are so greatful for anyone that has come to help out and anyone that is wishing to come next if it works out;) The days can be long and hard (never to hard) ;) and then other days can be short and relaxing.What ever the task is we love to have fun while doing it or at least have a very fun and positive attitude while doing the job, it makes it a lot more easy that way and not so much like work. We just take each day as it comes, and as we like to say we live in the moment;) Make the most of every moment and live life to the fullest:) We hope to make all those moments special ones for each and every (friend) that comes to stay with us. You may come as a workawayer but you will forsure leave as our friend:) Happy Trails Ahead to you all where ever your journey may lead you.:)
Project that we will need the most help with this summer is :- Haying - picking up hay bales to bring them off the feild to the barn. Helping out in the House./ Cooking at times or often if you like ;) ./ If one of you more like the inside cooking/ cleaning work ect. that is fine with us. We for sure can use that kind of help too:) We will try and have you help mostly with the things you enjoy the most.
Farm tasks that would usually get done daily. Some of these tasks you maybe working on alone.
Things to do in our area:--- Well for one you may not want to leave our ranch at all,,,,;) But if you would like to get out and do some site seeing we will be happy to show you around. We don't get off the ranch that often but we will forsure make that time for you all to see the area. Anything done off the ranch will be on your own cost.

We have a nice place to stay-20 foot camper Trailor or if it feels o.k we do have a spare room. And a little cabin/without indoor plumbing-toilet etc. and still a little unfinished/still working on it.- but are cozy and private:) . I think you will like were ever you stay, all cozy :)

We live 20 min. away from a small town that has many outback sports to do, - Kayaking / Cannoeing / White water rafting (so much fun!)-(i think it is around $100.00 per person, but so worth it:) 3 sets of beautiful water falls (a must see!) and for some extra excitement you may get to see a bear or 2, even a Mouse.(i ment to say Moose. lol but hey! you could probably see a mouse too thats forsure! ;) These animals like to live in the back woods very close to our ranch.
Other then that we will for sure do some late night bon fires,, You will forsure have many memorries and photos to take away with you. And hope the family friendship feeling that we so enjoy feeling too! Take good care, don't forget to live in the moment! Enjoy every one you have;) Cheers Anita :)

I really enjoyed staying with you guys! I had a good time, I love all your dogs they were very kind. I enjoyed all the outings you took me on, it was good to see the local areas and sights. I wish i could have stayed longer than two weeks, but i look forward to seeing all of you guys again some time.
