  My name is Ester. A few months ago I quit my job at Google to live more peacefully and to be connected with nature.
  I founded an Arts and Nature Center, a space to foster creativity, where we host arts workshops, and where we live in harmony with nature. I offer residencies for artists and researchers from around the world seeking peace and disconnection. Our community serves as a meeting point for those interested in cultural exchange activities.
  I grow my own vegetables and have chickens, two cats and a dog.

  Workawayers will be participating in social activities, as well as be able to get some rest and find peace in an oasis in the middle of the forest. Girona is 20 min away by train from Sils station. There are bikes available.

  Arbeit

  Any help is welcome in the garden (watering, planting, sweeping leaves and removing dry ones), with the animals (feeding the chicken, cleaning up their cages, or sitting the cats and dog), in the kitchen (preparing meals and tidy up the kitchen after meals), in the house (mostly maintenance tasks), or help with small construction projects (simple such as building a flower bed, garden bench, setting up a bookcase...etc), more in the cleaning the house (sweeping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms...), painting, doing some creative artistic tasks to decorate the house or garden...etc. It will depend on what the volunteer knows how to do. They are usually simple tasks.
  
  The gardening/maintenance/building/cooking/artistic help is only in my private home and garden, and not in spaces used by paying guests.
