Good morning,
We are Nicolas and Coralie, and we have been living for 3 years in a beautiful little farm abandoned for 28 years, close to ruin. We are trying to revive it with all our hearts!

WE ORGANIZE THE CALENDAR FOR SPRING 2024 (= MARCH APRIL MAY JUNE).
We will not be accepting requests at this time for reservations for July and August.
--- THE MAIN MISSIONS ---
- Maintain the parks and take care of the animals (5 sheep 2 goats)
- Help in the kitchen for (shared) meals
- Prepare the garden: pull out unwanted plants. Planting seedlings at the end of May.
--- LIFESTYLE ---
IMPORTANT POINT :
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 4 days a week you will be alone during the day. We will only ask you for very easy tasks or you will be rested according to the schedule
On Wednesdays and weekends, you will work with Cora and Nico, or we can also go hiking, climbing etc. depending on the schedule
Please note: we are absolutely looking for people in good physical condition who are really interested in this lifestyle. If possible, we would like people who have already used gardening tools as well as brush cutter, chainsaw etc. We insist on your real motivations in this experience that you choose to live. It's important to be interested in things and ask questions. We cannot afford to lose a crop, let an animal die, or the garden be destroyed due to negligence or timidity!! (experiences already lived...). Life in a community and on a farm requires real involvement on your part, curiosity, personal research (internet, book), critical thinking and a real need to participate in community life.
Clearing brush, cutting wood, tidying it up, weeding a garden, taking out the manure, emptying the dry toilets is repetitive and boring. There are a lot of thankless and repetitive tasks on a farm. If thankless and uninteresting are the two adjectives that come to mind when you think about these tasks, then this lifestyle probably isn't for you. We spend a lot of our time doing these kinds of tasks.
If this is your dream, you want to live in an "alternative", "autonomous", "resilient" place etc... Maybe one day have your own project? You are in the right place.... Also in the right place to discover that it is a difficult and tiring life! It's beautiful, exciting, rewarding, exciting but difficult! It’s not a life where you take your smartphone to the garden or while chopping wood. Unless it's to watch tutorials ;-) You have to constantly ask yourself questions, question yourself, do research, read books, ask questions, and more questions, make mistakes, fail, start again , start again, start again, succeed, contemplate, in short, no time to be bored or watch TV! And when it works, after all these efforts, we are happy, proud and we enjoy it!

=> We want you to discover our way of life, in a community, with of course, a schedule adapted to this type of exchange. We live in shared accommodation and also share all daily tasks. But not only that... There are obviously many good moments of relaxation, sport, parties and sharing. You will have the chance to discover the magnificent local mountains, the secret spots for swimming, the high cliffs for climbing and who knows how to take a paragliding flight... but whatever happens, the reality of everyday life can surprise you with its difficulty when you are not used to working with your hands. Si tu te sens l'âme d'un bûcheron, que tu veux te sculpter un corps de rêve pour l'été, que tu aimes ou aimerais perfectionner ton swing à la hâche tu es le bienvenu ;-) Tu peux ramener tes copains ! En effet la tempête à fait tombé de nombreux arbres et on a du boulot pour ranger tout ça ! Rendez vous deuxième quinzaine d'avril !

NOUS ORGANISONS LE CALENDRIER POUR LE PRINTEMPS 2024 ( = MARS AVRIL MAI JUIN).
Nous n'accepterons pas de demande pour le moment concernant des réservations pour juillet et août.
--- LES MISSIONS PRINCIPALES ---
- Entretenir les parcs et s'occuper des animaux (5 brebis 2 chèvres)
- Aide à la cuisine pour les repas (partagés)
- Préparer le jardin : arracher les plantes indésirables. Plantation des semis fin mai.
--- RYTHME DE VIE ---
POINT IMPORTANT :
Les lundis mardis- jeudis et vendredis soit 4 jours par semaine vous serez seuls la journée. Nous vous demanderons uniquement des tâches très faciles ou vous serez en repos suivant le planning
Le mercredi, et les weekend, vous travaillerez avec Cora et Nico, ou nous pouvons aussi aller en rando, escalade etc.. suivant le planning
Attention : nous recherchons absolument des personnes en bonne condition physique et qui s'intéresse réellement à ce mode de vie. Nous souhaiterions si possible, des personnes ayant déjà utilisé des outils de jardinage ainsi que débroussailleuse, tronçonneuse etc... Nous insistons sur vos réelles motivations dans cette expérience que vous choisissez de vivre. Il est important de s'intéresser aux choses et de poser des questions. On ne peut pas se permettre de perdre une récolte, laisser mourir un animal, ou le jardin être détruit à cause de négligence ou timidité !! (expériences déjà vécu...). La vie en collectivité et dans une ferme nécessite une réelle implication de votre part, de la curiosité, des recherches personnelles (internet, livre), un esprit critique et un réel besoin de participer à la vie en collectivité.
Débroussailler, couper du bois, le ranger, désherber un jardin, sortir le fumier, vider les toilette sèches est répétitif et ennuyeux. Il y a énormément de tâches ingrates et répétitive dans une ferme. Si ingrat et peu intéressant sont les deux adjectifs qui vous viennent lorsque vous pensez à ces tâches, alors ce mode de vie n'est probablement pas fait pour vous. Nous passons beaucoup de notre temps à réaliser ce genre de tâches.
Si c'est votre rêve, vous souhaitez vivre dans un lieu "alternatif", en "autonomie", « résilient » etc...Peut être un jour avoir votre propre projet ? Vous êtes au bon endroit .... Au bon endroit aussi pour découvrir que c'est une vie difficile et fatigante ! C'est beau, excitant, gratifiant, passionnant mais difficile ! Ce n’est pas une vie ou on prend son smartphone au jardin ou en coupant du bois. Sauf si c'est pour regarder des tutoriels ;-) Il faut sans cesse se poser des questions, se remettre en question, faire des recherches, lire des livres, poser des questions, et encore des questions, faire des erreurs, échouer, recommencer, recommencer, recommencer encore, réussir, contempler, bref pas le temps de s'ennuyer ou de regarder la télé ! Et quand ça marche, après tout ces efforts, on est heureux, fier et on savoure !
Désolé si nous insistons sur l'aspect difficile mais dernièrement un certain nombre d'expériences nous laisse pensé qu'il est préférable de prévenir que ce n'est pas de tout repos !
=> Nous souhaitons vous faire découvrir notre mode de vie, en collectivité, avec bien sûr, un emploi du temps adapté à ce type d'échange. Nous vivons en mode colocation et partageons aussi toutes les tâches du quotidien. Mais pas que ... Il y a bien évidement de nombreux et bon moments de détente, de sport, de fêtes et de partage. Vous aurez la chance de découvrir les magnifiques montagne du coin, les spots secrets pour se baigner, les hautes falaises d'escalade et qui sait faire un vol en parapente... mais quoi qu'il arrive, la réalité du quotidien peut surprendre par sa difficulté lorsqu'on à pas l'habitude de travailler de ses mains. Si vous vous sentez prêt à relever le défit et vivre cette expérience, n'hésitez pas à poser vos questions !

Nicolas is a photovoltaic panel installer; a former mechanical engineer, he'll surprise you with all his DIY skills. An exceptionally efficient handyman!
Coralie is a school teacher. Inspiring and creative, her illustrations and instructions will guide you in your first steps on the farm, and you may even be lucky enough to take part in her creative workshops (soap-making, laundry, all kinds of vegetable/fruit processing and wild harvesting)! She'll win you over with her organization and positive management. If you'd like to take your stay even further, she's also a Kundalini yoga teacher, and will be delighted to take you on a journey into yourself by introducing you to this discipline. She is passionate about India, its culture and ayurveda, and draws much of her inspiration from them in her cooking.
You'll learn how to be resourceful! Here, you have to use your imagination to manage the challenges of everyday life. We speak French, and get by in English and Spanish. You can learn about gardening, vegetable and fruit processing, electricity, carpentry, plumbing, pruning, climbing, caving, paragliding, French and Indian cuisine, circus and kundalini yoga.

Elle est passionnée par l'Inde, sa culture, l'ayurvéda et s'en inspire beaucoup pour cuisiner.
Vous pourrez apprendre la 'débrouille' ! Ici il faut faire preuve d'imagination pour arriver à gérer tout les défis du quotidien. Nous parlons français, et nous nous débrouillons en anglais et espagnol. Vous pourrez apprendre le jardin, la transformation des légumes et fruits, l'électricité, la charpente, la plomberie, l'élagage, l'escalade, la spéléo, la parapente, la cuisine française et indienne, un peu de cirque, le yoga kundalini.

We have 2 caravans available for volunteers.
There is also the possibility to pitch your tent.
If you have a van, you are welcome to use it.
The house is very old and the comfort is relative, it is a farmhouse atmosphere! You should not expect a star hotel!
The place is very quiet and you can meditate by the stream and take a nap in the grass when it is too hot to work.
We share our small house with the volunteers and live in a shared house.
There is a common kitchen for all of us.
You will of course have access to the bathroom and the outhouse.
