I am Cengiz. Electronic engineer and tech consultant (MSc) and last 5 years I have been working on natural buildings and permaculture design here (hands-on) in the farm located in Bodrum Turkey.
The Farm is a permaculture farm with a superadobe natural buildings. Totally off grid. Last couple years finally started focus on garden and applying permaculture discipline here. The farm is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded my burned forest and mountain. Thats why no direct transportation here, closest village (mumcular) where you can find transportation to bodrum and around is around 10 min away (9 km) so i need give you a ride when you arrive.

3 main things you can grasp here, natural building technics, permaculture farming and living totally off-grid. I have slowly started applying on the land last 3 years. Around 80 fruit and nitrogen fix trees has been planted and one by one I am building raised beds around them. To do so all kind of compost methods (bokashi, hot and cold) has been applying here. Besides all this daily chorus, I will be building raised beds by using sandbags, wood. In farm we have many musical instruments like piano, guitar, drum. So if you interested in, we can practice and jam together. When we are not working, especially in summer, I mostly discover nice bays to swim and scuba diving. Not only workayers discover am ancient sea side touristic place, Bodrum, also it's villages and real Turkish culture with me.
Arbeit
For the summer season I usually work between 9-11 am and 5-7pm because of hot weather. My goal is become totally self sufficient so I don't expect any financial income from garden so working is flexible here. besides daily chorus like taking care of compostings and watering, Cleaning the house and garden, I am building raised beds and using hugel culture method in greenhouse and all around the garden. Mostly we will be working for this purpose around the land. Cleaning the area, digging, carrying soil and filling it with organics. But work can be various according to the season you come
With workawayers and volunteers we built a new superadobe building. Exterior of the building is finished already and now i am working on interior design and plastering. But recently i started working in a hotel project in bodrum center so i will be away from farm from monday to Thursday btw 8 am to 6 pm. So I will be at farm full time only from friday to sunday. When i am at farm we can work on interior design, ferro cement, raised beds and garden wall made by superadobe technic. While i am away volunteers mostly work on gardening and take care of my dogs and cats.

Unterkunft
For autumn and winter seasons we have 1 bed room With double bed for couples.
For hot seasons, i have two tents with double beds in, so still they are really comfortable and even better temperature than inside of the house. But if we have more than 2 couple, workawayers are expected bring their own tents.
We have a kitchen it the homestead.
if workawayer has a special diet, together we can do our groceries and cook.
But sometimes I could be too busy too cook even for myself so it is a must that workawayer at least needs to know how to cook for him/herself.
We have kind of 1 week rule, if both side get along within 1 week, workawayers can stay longer if they want, otherwise they need to leave. There is no minimum staying rule.
Also as i mentioned, my cats and dogs always around. If you don't like them or to don't like to pet them this farm is not suitable for you to workaway.

45 min away from bodrum center so many touristic places, beaches, diving and etc all around. Also farm is covered by mountains and hiking is a good option.

We have enough place for campervans and tents. Because of limited guest room I have, campervans and visitors with tent would be perfect. Of course workawayers can use all utilities and the farmstead.

We have already 4 dogs 4 cats. Your pets are okay only if they are cool with other cats and dogs
