    Welcome.

We are guardians of a piece of land.

There is bioconstruction, maintenance, construction of the different cabins.

Helps in the production, packaging of peanut butter, sauerkraut, cocoa and other products.

Help in our organic store in the town of Mazunte.

Help with cleaning, maintenance of common areas, dirt roads, workshop.

Help with weeding, watering trees in the bush.

And help with whatever is necessary on a day-to-day basis.

We welcome respectful persons who wants to integrate Permaculture practices in there lifes.and likes the kids, cause they are really important part of all this.
We are living on a 2 hectare big land on a hill near to Mazunte, Oaxaca. The land is dominated by wild forest with integrated gardens and buildings.
We arrived to this land in 2014 and are working since then continuously here. All we do we try to do by ourselfs and with the help of volunteers.

We are from Mexico and Germany, we have kids 2 dog and a cats.
Our vision is to establish a base for practical knowledge to experience alternative methods to live without causing any harm to our environment. To leave our poisons behind and find our roots in the earth.
We are not a community, we just share the space the land the nature the knowledge with persons that are interested to learn and share experiences with respect to the mother earth.

We have the comunal.house for volunteers.
Our project is to build a space open for different events as workshops, retreat, cultural interchange, and an botanic garden preserving the local flora.

We are slowly opening up to local indigenous communities around us for different projects with them as teaching in local schools or creating woman cooperatives to produce organic food products and even export. We do need a lot of help in the last one.

The further meaning for us here is to gain practical knowledge and working methods for being sustainable so we can use these and share with people that comes.

We found Mexico a good place for this purpose because there is a lot to learn from the ancient culture of Mexican – natives.

What do we understand under Permaculture:
Permaculture as we see it has not so much to do with expensive courses and modern words but more with the experience of living in natural friendly community’s in harmony with other people, is a flower that has many elements, can be as simple like bring wood, water, empy compost, clean as complex. Like work with wood, stones, etc.

For us Permaculture was not invented by Bill Molison, he just created a new word for a very old thing! Permaculture was first practiced in Africa for many thousand years ago, today the remaining native population has the widest and most develop wisdom of permaculture! Our modern lifestyle increases the loss of that wisdom!

We recommend people interested in learn more about permaculture to travel to small villages and family’s outside touristic areas and learn about their lives and culture rather than theoretic courses of theoretic teachers!
