Hi there.
We are a couple who lives on a small farm in the western side of Norway with great surrondings of fjord and mountains.
It takes about 30 minutes to Bergen by car or train.
We have an old Norwegian short tail sheep breed with horns, some different chickens and two cats. We also have a useful kitchengarden and quite a bit of flowerbeds. So here is always something to do taking care of the garden, animals and keeping the place nice so it is a good place to be.
We can only take one workawayer at the time.
The easiest for us is if the workawayers can eat what we have on the farm, like sheep- and chicken- meat, eggs and fish.

Our workawayers can learn about Norway, see and experience beautiful landscapes and places.
Dag is a good handyman so it is possible to pick a up few things wihtin practical work.
Britt has always been into nature, animals, gardening, and has education and experience in agriculture and animalhusbandry, has also done lots of travelling around the world before landing on this little farm.
We think it is great to get visitors from all over the world, to have good conversations, exchange views and experiences about everything from farming and gardening to international issues.
Arbeit
It is now getting close to 20 years already since we got this place, and it is still a wonderful spot, and even more so.
It is always great to get some volunteer help withmaking firewood, clearing up in the forest, fencing, vegetable garden, weeding, cutting grass, keeping footpaths, taking care of the chickens and sheep, cooking, cleaning ect... The activities depends on the season /weather and the interst/ talent of the workawayer :-)

ANOTHER EXCELLENT VOLUNTARY PROJECT
I am more than happy that my first voluntary work in Norway took place on the Britt's and Dag's gorgeous farm. Bruce was our first workawayer and we could not have been more lucky! He was a dream to have in the house, good worker to have outside on the farm with the different tasks. He was caring for the animals doing the feeding, and helping out with different jobs; stonework, firewood, clearing the land....
