Nicole is very friendly and kind hearted, also kept the accommodation clean. She was always popular from both our customers and other volunteers, I recommend her to all the hosts on Workaway!

I host Antonia and Taufik for 10 days, and they were a fantastic help around the house and in the garden. Both jumped in with a great attitude, were easy to communicate with, and took on tasks with care. I’d happily recommend them to any future hosts, they were reliable, considerate, and hardworking. Thanks again for all your help, I wish you the best on your travels.

I had such a wonderful time staying with Tonina, Francesco, and their children, Benedetta and Matteo. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and part of their family. Teaching English to Benedetta was a real joy; she is such a bright and creative individual. I even had the chance to help her with her cosplay outfit, which was such a fun and creative experience. Their home is in a great location, within walking distance of the Colosseum and close to the metro, making it very easy to get around and explore the city. They also gave me plenty of free time to sightsee and enjoy Rome, which I really appreciated. Tonina and Francesco are incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts, and the whole family created a warm and welcoming environment that made my stay unforgettable. I’m very grateful for the experience and would happily recommend them to any Workawayer.

We had the pleasure of hosting Yosuke and Shiori for our home renovation project on Santa Maria Island and they were fantastic! They worked thoroughly and independently, always respectful and keeping everything clean and organized. They gave so much love to our dog, and quickly made friends with people around us. What started as a WorkAway turned into a real friendship—we can’t recommend them enough!

Raymond stayed with us for a very interesting and worthwhile 3 weeks. He is an incredible worker with many practical, valuable skills. We had many stimulating conversations and enjoyed lots of humour. We hope to see him again one day - best wishes to you, Raymond!

Louise was honestly such a great addition to our place. From the moment she arrived, she brought really good energy and made everyone feel super comfortable , like part of the family. She’s a hard worker, always helpful and reliable, and she jumped into everything with such a good attitude. She was easy to talk to, communicated clearly, and just made things flow smoothly. Whether we were working or just hanging out, she had a way of making the vibe better. We were really lucky to have her with us and would welcome her back anytime!

Hannah is a food professional. Full stop. She is incredibly inventive and creative, and her talent covers menu development, food design, presentation, and photography. During her stay, we were fortunate to enjoy her lunch and dinner preparations, which were not only beautiful to look at, but delicious to eat. Her character is lovely. She easily collaborated with other volunteers and was part of a dynamic and fun loving group. Her photographs will continue to grace our website and social media. She was a respectful and generous volunteer who we would love to see again.

This was my very first Workaway experience, and I feel so lucky to have met such wonderful hosts. Shannan and Colin welcomed me warmly—Colin picked me up from the station and kindly introduced me to everyone, and Shannan prepared a delicious dinner. The room they provided was cozy and comfortable, and I also got to meet their two lovely dogs: calm Luna and enthusiastic Sophie. During my stay, I learned about planting, experienced weeding, and even got to harvest vegetables—their garden is so rich and diverse! The work each day was not too much, and Colin always arranged tasks reasonably. After finishing, we had plenty of free time to enjoy. We also took turns cooking, which was a great chance for everyone to share food together. I met Eva and Alexandre from France, and working with them was really fun. They showed me a lot, and later on in my travels, we even had the chance to meet again for a drink! Unfortunately, Shannan left for a trip to Greece soon after I arrived, so I didn’t have much time to spend with her. But I’m very grateful to Colin for his patience with my English, for taking me on dog walks in the park, and for showing me around the University of Michigan. Thank you so much for everything—this was an unforgettable experience, and I hope to meet you again in the future!

Well, simply put, my time at Lee and Kevin's chalet was more than just good. I was able to enjoy the incredible tranquility and comfort of this wonderful house and its surroundings. The hosts are simply wonderful. Not much else to say, but yes, I miss Ronnie. A big hug to everyone. Maybe we'll see each other in the future.

We were lucky to host Elena from Italy for almost a month, and it was truly a wonderful experience. She is a very positive, kind-hearted person with great energy — calm, attentive, and very fun to be around. From the beginning she was eager and willing to learn, quick to adapt, and very attuned to our family’s rhythm, which made it feel natural and easy to have her with us. Elena brought a special lightness into our home. She was respectful of private space, had amazing energy with our son Henry, and we especially loved when she shared her grandma’s tiramisu recipe with us! She is a real beach lover, open to trying new things, and also prepared delicious meals we all enjoyed. Having Elena around felt less like having a volunteer and more like welcoming a new member of the family. We are really grateful for her presence and can wholeheartedly recommend her to any future host.

Me and my friend volunteered here for a week and it was a nice and memorable experience. We cleared brambles from the orange farm (tough but manageable work, especially with less working hours). It's a beautiful and calm place in the middle of nowhere. Sophie and Simon are both very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed sharing time and meals with them and we appreciated that they brought us to the beach a couple of times. Thank you Sophie and Simon :)

WE Had a great time with Alessandro. He is a very nice Guy helped where He could and was very easy going. He Drew us a nice horse on a carpet on our dwell so that we will Not forget him for Sure. :) Can't wait you to come again <3

Katie stayed with me for almost two weeks and was a truly wonderful volunteer. In Opinogóra she helped prepare guest rooms and took care of the goats, and later in Kielce we worked together on renovating our second house, including painting the floors. She is very independent – I never had to ask her to do small tasks, she always did them willingly and with a smile. On top of that, she’s a great cook and brings a calm, positive energy that everyone around could feel. It was a beautiful time and I can wholeheartedly recommend Katie to any host. I really hope our paths will cross again!

Just like all of the other reviews, my experience with Simonetta and her family was remarkable. This was my first work away experience and I cannot believe my luck in finding such a warm, caring, and welcoming family to stay with for a month. I was brought in like a member of the family from day 1. During the quieter days, there’s plenty of work that can still be done harvesting fruits from the garden, organizing and cleaning the rental apartments, or helping Simonetta with other chores/errands. During Ferragosto be prepared for guest check-ins and check-outs everyday! Lots of cleaning/bed-making/breakfast prep under the intense Tuscan sun, but the work is still easy enough. I had several opportunities to go to the beach, explore Gavorrano and the surrounding areas, and shared every meal with Simonetta, her husband Piero, and the two beautiful pups Cabiria & Pina! Simonetta is hands down the best cook you will ever have the pleasure of meeting and she was patient and helpful with me in improving my Italian. Simo, daverro non ho le parole per descrivere quanto sia stato speciale il mio tempo a Gavorrano con tutti voi. Grazie mille di tutto - non vedo l’ora di rivederci! Un forte abbraccio.

I spent 10 days at Stella's homestead. It's a very quiet area (besides the roosters in the morning) and a very relaxing place to be! If you get too lonesome Yara, the husky will give you great company. She's ready to play at all times :) The town itself is pretty quiet too but friendly with a good amount of outdoor recreation nearby! The swimming holes and hiking should be taken advantage of. Thanks for the delicious food and being hospitable to all of us Stella!

Sara is great. We had lots of good conversation. We enjoyed having here stay. We hope the rest of her stay on Turtle Island is lovely.

Felix & Jérémie were great company and they did so much work for us. They are kind, hardworking, and respectful people. We can highly recommend them!

This is one of the best experiences I ever had, Alex and Greg are great host and the villa is amazing ,10/10 hospitality, location, accommodation, communication and ambiance. Don´t hesitate to ask. The location allowed you to travel a lot, is a mid point of everywhere. the living conditions are great, it does not miss anything, you have everything. This is my first and the best ever, and looking forward to back again. Thank again. all the best.

Stanislava is such a kind, friendly, thoughtful and warm host who welcomed me with a smile on her face. I had a wonderful time helping out around the house, doing art therapy sessions, cooking some Italian dishes and sharing interesting conversations. Thank you once again, until next time :-)
