We are Olga and Alvaro. We grew up in the Netherlands and Uruguay, respectively, after living in the prairies of the U.S. for 16+ years we have now made our home in the Azores and the Algarve. Currently we both work part time, remotely. Good food, hosting friends and family, exploringPortugal and outdoors activities are some of our favorite things. We are proud and grateful for having 3 major projects and hosted travelers for over 2 years. We have been super impressed by the work of the volunteers, and enjoy their positive, creative energy every day.

What an experience it was to stay at Olga, Alvaro and offcourse with Nina. We couldn't have hoped for a better one.

To start with Olga and Alvaro are warm and very kind hosts, Nina is a lovely dog, and the house with the view was amazing.

Edoardo & Patrick are too energetic volunteers. We enjoyed their positive vibes, interest in learning English, and trying new foods and drinks on the island.
