Hard to find words to describe how enriching and transformative this experience was! My 3 month stay with QT enabled me to develop a super wide range of new skills, understanding how a non profit trekking organisation works, being able to prepare and lead a trek, evolving in a multicultural environment, and so much more! I felt like QT is an amazing place to learn and develop new skills with confidence since I always found lots of support and kindness among the amazing community I was part of! I'd absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure, where the breathtaking views of the treks are as beautiful as the human connections and cultural exchanges that are making this experience unique!

Vri and Ro volunteered at the guesthouse for nearly two months. During that time, we received high praise and only five-star reviews from the guests. They maintained a very friendly and acessible environment, showed high flexibility with late check-ins and difficult guests, and their musical abilities lended a creative backdrop to the guesthouse. In addition to hospitality, they did an excellent job designing and creating a logo for the villa (Ro painted the outdoor sign with care and skill). They were a joy to have around, and we greatly appreciated working and spending time with them. The only real issue that arose was when they made a last minute departure for a new location with only one day's notice. While that was far from ideal, they are good workers, friendly hosts, and were lovely people to have at our guesthouse. Thank you for your help and best of luck to you!

Thea is full of light, energy, harmony, but also great sensitivity. We shared so much in such a short time. She brought life through the trees, dogs, horses, and cats. They will love her forever. Thea is a brave woman full of wonderful qualities and details. She makes delicious desserts and learned to cook several dishes with green plantains typical of the coast of this country. On a couple of occasions, I had to be away, and Thea took care of the farm and the animals that love her. She cleaned my little space and left me cookies or something delicious that she had prepared.Among the many things we did, such as horseback riding on the beach, I painted the stables, planted native trees for the reforestation project, and started a jalapeño seedbed that will soon be a delicious success. Nous avons passé une chouette semaine dans le village de Noubou, à « Nou-bout-du-monde », un séjour vraiment dépaysant ! Après quelques heures de bus puis de moto sur les pistes, nous avons été accueillis par la famille de Labo, avec qui nous avons partagé les repas et de bons moments. Ely, un ami de Labo en charge du jardin durant son absence, a été notre guide. Les balades dans le village étaient vraiment magnifiques et les habitants très accueillants. Cela nous permis de voir ce que pouvait être la vie au village, en toute simplicité. A cette période il y avait très peu de travail au jardin, on nous a peu sollicités, c’était plutôt reposant comme séjour : puiser l’eau au puit, laver son linge à la rivière, boire du thé et faire des siestes à l’ombre des manguiers… Labo et son association ont beaucoup oeuvré pour le développement local (chateau d’eau, moulin, panneaux solaires) . Nous dormions dans une petite case traditionnelle, la douche et les toilettes étaient en extérieur.

Will is an incredible person, willing to learn and demonstrate his values, totally uncomplicated and enjoys life. Every day he surprised me with his initiatives. He has extensive experience working with wood and was formidable in helping me with that. He bonded with the horses and helped me a lot with them. His confidence led us to ride horses in the mountains and on the beach. We also worked on training dogs in “search and rescue,” with Will being the rescuer. I must say that we enjoyed good food and especially the desserts. Will became part of the family, and he will be loved wherever he goes.

I had such a great time working here! It was my first Workaway experience and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. I helped with housekeeping — the work was easy and relaxed. Everyone was super friendly and made me feel at home. The vibe is amazing and it’s such a nice place to meet new people. The location is perfect for exploring Antalya’s old town. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience — thank you for everything!

Palabras no puede describir como siento de tener el oportunidad de estar con el comunidad de esta creando. Zofia volunteered with us for a week and we were truly grateful to have her on board. She contributed enthusiastically across a variety of tasks including cleaning rooms, weeding, harvesting fruits, and cooking meals. Her work ethic was consistent and dependable — she approached every task with care and attention to detail. One of the highlights of her stay was when she prepared traditional Polish Pierogies — a delicious and memorable treat that showcased both her cooking skills and her willingness to share her culture. Zofia is easy-going, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. She integrated well with us and guests and brought a calm, positive energy to the environment. We’d happily recommend Zofia to any future host. She is responsible, warm-hearted, and would be a real asset to any project.

This was my first Workaway experience, and it was absolutely wonderful! I spent about two weeks with Doris and her family, and from the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into the family. I especially loved sharing daily meals and chatting with Doris and the boys. It was so nice for me to learn about their lives and culture, and for me to be able to share as well. They are definitely a well travelled family, and so respectful, interested, and loving of other cultures! The youngest daughter’s cheerfulness was contagious; despite the language barrier, we found ways to play and connect, which was so much fun! Doris is incredibly kind, open-minded, generous, and thoughtful. I will always cherish the conversations we had! She explains tasks clearly and is receptive to your skills and interests. She is very easy going, and genuinely wants her Workawayers to have a great experience! Helping around the house and doing some outdoor work in good weather never felt like a chore. Her description in her profile was very accurate, and I would say exceeded the expectations I had of my stay! I was also fortunate to join the family on a hike in the Alps and attend the local Apple Cake festival! If you have the chance to stay here, you definitely won’t regret it. The house is beautiful, and the village is like something out of a dream, nestled in the Alps. It was the perfect place to unwind after traveling. Plus, it’s easy to visit Munich and other nearby villages, though I personally enjoyed spending most of my time exploring the local area. The family perfectly balances being welcoming and respecting your need for personal time. I truly enjoyed being part of their family, even for such a short time, and I would return in a heartbeat! I was sad to leave them, but hopeful our paths will cross again! Thank you so much for everything! 💖

Irene is a delightful human with a wonderful place. She was incredibly generous to us with more than we deserved. She has a plethora of knowledge with stories of Ireland heritage and all the folklore as well, which was always a good time to listen to. She has a very strong love for her kitties and we admittedly teased her a little bit about this, in a loving way of course. Those are some very lucky kitties to have her watching over them. Irene had a variety of tasks that she needed completed, which was fabulous because we could adjust our workdays in accordance with the weather so it was especially nice having all the options. When we weren't working, her home was our home and she was very clear about us enjoying the space. This made for lovely mornings and evenings to relax and rest. In addition to the wonderful work she had for us she also made sure we had a nice time visiting other towns and encouraged us to explore the area. She let us use her bikes and also drove us to places. Irene also joined us on some of the adventures, including one late night out to a pub for some live music. If you enjoy quaint and quiet, appreciate and love kitties, can treat her place with love and respect and enjoy various projects then this is a must stay!

Jonathan. Muchas gracias and meric beaucoup. Jonathan is a patient and hardworking person who consitently reminded his workaways that he was a person you could count on and establish a welcoming environment for all conversations. Before coming aboard Jonathan's place, he met with me for a video call and we had a conversation about ourselves, which helped us understand our personalitieis and goals in this life. Also, Jothan has a unique ability to communicate tasks to be done around the property, while also creating a healthy relationship for all people to have an easygoing experience. While Jonathan is a hardworking and busy individual, his gesture of welcoming me into his home, kitchen, caring for his animals, is a great honour that he entrusts with great care. Jonathan's place: peaceful, familiar, and safe. Jonathan, Arthur, Cali, and the many other animals and cool human beings. I recommend a place here with Jonthan because it is just a place where one can spend time with open-minded people, learn new things, and come across some pretty cool people, animals, and nature. Jan was great! He was extremely flexible, had a wide array of skills he was willing to apply to our project, and was able to adapt to different work environments and needs that our school had during his stay. I'd no doubt recommend him for any logo, web, or general graphic design work needed across any and all different industries. Likewise, he's just generally an easy going guy able to take feedback and roll with whatever may be needed of him.

Vilem stayed with us for about three weeks, and it was an absolute pleasure to host him. He worked hard, with both skill and enthusiasm. During his stay, he single-handedly insulated a large room — and did so with impressive competence, care, and independence. He is a fast learner who quickly understands what needs to be done and often finds creative, practical solutions to challenges. Around the house, he was always polite, easy-going, and pleasant to have around. He got along wonderfully with my adolescent children and with the other Workawayer who was here at the same time — a woman of 45. Vilem has a great attitude toward work and life: calm, positive, and reliable. I can wholeheartedly recommend him to any host looking for someone motivated, capable, and kind. You’ll be lucky to have him on your team! Thank you so much for all your help Vilem! You are welcome back any time.

Débora estuvo con nosotros como voluntaria y dejó una huella increíble. Puntual, amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar, se encargó de la recepción y las tareas comunes con mucha responsabilidad y buena onda. Resolutiva, ordenada y de total confianza, cualquier hostal estaría tranquilo dejándola a cargo.

I really enjoyed this Workaway with Garry and the gang! The mixture of the English learners as well as my fellow workawayers, meant we were all able to share tales from all over the globe. Garry is a very approachable Host and works hard to keep the sense of community on the trip. The sightseeing and experiences were a total cherry on the cake too. You can't go wrong with this one :)

Meg is an amazing volunteer: always keen to help and with a lovely smile on her face everyday. She helped mostly with painting walls and furniture, but also did some carpentry and cleaning duties, so she's definitely not afraid of getting her hands dirty. In the house she was respectful, clean and our cats' best friend; with a high interest in our culture, independent... What can we say? You won't regret to have her in your project.

I cannot be more grateful for this amazing opportunity to come on your beautiful farm in Catalunya, Spain. From the first day Josie, Bary and Christopher made me feel so welcome and at home. Their farm is in a super nice area, and the view is incredible. In fact I enjoyed watching the sunset most evenings. The work given is very manageable and fun if approaching it with the right mindset. I would work the mornings till lunch time and have the rest of the day free! This is when I would sit on their beautiful patio studying or chilling. One thing I can be sure of is that I would never walk away from the dinner table with a rumbling tummy, in fact the food is delicious and the portions as I said, are always enough to fill you up. At the weekends I had the opportunity to travel to Barcelona and Valencia. Where I had so much fun getting to know the city by walking around a lot and meeting many different unique people. Not to forget the lively Spanish night life is something else! Thank you Josie for all the interesting conversations that we had and for sharing your stories over a cup of tea. Thank you Bary for the cups of tea and coffee and for the delicious meals you cooked, you have a really kind heart. Good luck to you both for the Christmas fare! Thank you Christopher for cooking paella and tortilla de patatas which were really tasty!!! … Not to forget that you were kind enough to take me down to the village on different occasions, so I could experience the traditional Spanish fiesta where I had a really nice time. There is no doubt that if I had a problem or question they were always available to help and always asked if I was alright… they are a caring and humble family.
