Staying with Anja and Celeste was such a special experience! I pruned olive trees, sanded and painted windows, and cleared away tree branches. In return, I was served beautiful meals, and experienced the most incredible hospitality! I wish I could have stayed longer, and I hope to be back soon. Thank you for everything!

Kato Working with Kato was a very positive experience. She is respectful, proactive, creative, kind, and very responsible. Pasé una semana con Jimmy y Macarena en su campo que son personas amables y simpaticós. El trabajo cambió mucho que fue divertido. Plantamos piñas, construimos una pared por una casa y mejoramos el piso. La finca es un lugar muy lindo rodeado de naturaleza con una vista de la laguna azul. Siempre dormí muy bien en el centro de la selva porque es muy tranquilo. La ubicación de el campo es bastante lejos de Sauce. Entonces toma un poco de tiempo para bajar y subir por ejemplo cuando necesita hacer compras. Recommiendo esto proyecto si quieres trabajar en una finca y vivir una experiencia en la selva. The kids club is a great inclusive and self discovery eco-education project in a natural and peaceful environment. It is growing quickly, and they kids are active and taking part to it seriously, while having fun. I liked the educational methodology and it is surprisingly great to see how the effort and the hard work of just a few generous people that want to share and offer free education and skills, not just to their kids but to many, is effective. The meetings we had were a mix of self reflection, global overview and Moroccan tradional knowledge. We had classes on identity, values, the 17 SDGs, and local history as well. From the first moment I felt welcome in the family, they are really polite, trustable and sweet, they did everythig to to make me feel at eas, they helped me, they always cared about my needs, rest time, and personal space. They were curious and interested in the cultural exchange between us. I had a really nice time, every day was different and had something special: playing with the kids, preparing the activities, going out for a walk or to the market, cooking, visiting the relatives, meeting the peacock, and looking at the sunset and the red full moon rise from the rooftop. I am really grateful for your appreciation for the small tasks I was doing, as part of the work you are doing together as a comunity to help the club grow. I reccomed the experience to anyone that likes to stay with open hearted and curios kids, and at the same time would like to have an experience of the culture and tradition of Morocco in the town and countryside, eating cous cuos and Tagin, drinking tea, buing from the local market, looking at ducks and piggeons, watering the plants...

Marga nos visito durante tres semanas, tuvimos una excelente experiencia. Realizó labores de campo y de casa, cumplió con los tiempos y las labores establecidas con mucho agrado. Es muy amorosa con los animales y siempre los trato con mucho cariño. Una joven muy alegre y tranquila, respetuosa con todas las personas y una muy buena actitud. Siempre bienvenida Marga!!!

Every day was filled with laughter, shared stories, and the joy of delicious meals prepared and enjoyed together. During our time with them, we had the pleasure of helping in the garden—pruning the food forest, shredding branches, and tackling autumn weeding. Their spirit of fun and sharing useful information with us, made every task feel meaningful and enjoyable. The accommodations they provided were not only beautiful but also the most comfortable we’ve experienced in all our Workaway travels. Truly, they set a new standard of workaway hospitality. We are very grateful for their thoughtfulness about this. We loved their animals too, their 2 dogs, Harry the cat and the ducks and geese! Thank you both for opening your home and hearts to us. Your warmth, friendship and generosity will stay with us, and we look forward to keeping in touch and hopefully catching up again in the near future.

I‘ve had my first Workaway experience with Daniel and it couldn‘t have been better. He was very caring since the first moment and always made sure we felt comfortable on the boat. He was super fun to be around and we shared lots of laughs together with Garance (other workawayer <3). Still, he let us spend plenty of time alone, whether we spent that time reading, napping, etc. but was always around for a talk/questions/etc. The work on the boat was minimal and very fun to do, especially when Daniel showed off his dance moves to the musik. (: I am very grateful for this adventurous experience & I can definitely reccommend staying with Daniel (aka Captain Diva) to anyone who wants to have an amazing and fun time!! All the best (:

I've been to the Hacienda for three weeks and it was a lot of fun! The first week I was full time (you spend more time with the dogs and you make sure everything is running smoothly in the Hacienda) and then I switched to part time (so I had more free time to explore the beautiful are, and the tasks switched to cooking, choppinh wood, building bed ecc..) I think I met around 50 people in total, there is a lot coming and going and the mood can change a lot, but I honestly loved it. Luis is the best, so chill and ready to have fun with everyone. Even if I'm not the biggest lover of dogs I enjoyed this experience, so if you like dogs you are gonna love it. I hope to will be back in the future, thank you Luis❤️🍻

Tom and Tam stayed a few weeks with us and we ve been really happy with their help and presence . They are calm, reliable, precise and hard working . They helped us with a lot of different tasks , from small patience jobs like collecting and cleaning seeds to heavy ones like collecting lots of manure , helping with gardening and seeding and with the construction of our small hut , and they were really good in all of them, plus always enjoying the work . We both had really nice nice working together and a very easy time letting them do things on their own , as they were really reliable and precise . They even build some super nice and comfy chairs for the volunteer kitchen in their free time ! And besides all the help and work done , they be been a great company , and we really enjoy the time we spent together ! I would definitely suggest them to any host .

I've spent September here and it was an amazing experience. The workaway is structured in a way that you go to teach English in a school in the morning and in the afternoon you do different activities with the kids in the building where you live with the other volunteers (usually 5/6). Don't expect many comfort in your room (e.g no warm water ahah). Jennifer is super nice, and the working hours are not many so you have a lo of free time to enjoy the area. The city of Quillabamba as many bars, restaurants and clubs as well, plus the nature around is worth to discover with so many waterfalls! Speaking a bit of Spanish is a plus because could help you to get the attention of the kids faster. I would recommend this workaway 100%.

What an experience 💚 I will try my best to express the moments i have lived here. Once you arrive here, you will understand what i mean. Lili, Wolfgang and the kids are a warm, trustworthy and open family who share a place where nature, animals and people live in harmony. The way they open their home to people from all over the world is inspiring and offers many opportunities to learn. There was a lot of variety in the work i did from painting, to gardening, to feeding the animals (my goose friends), taking care of the children (while practicing German and Spanish) etc. I will never forget how the clouds flow through the mountains, the laughs and deep talks we shared, and how rested I felt while being on the Finca. Rebecca's house is so special experience. I have never lived before in an off-grid house. It was very interesting for me to learn how it works. The view is incredible from the house and the garden, specially at night with all lights of the villages. Every day a little bit different tasks. Sometimes a bit fisical but nothing intense. With food workawayers are independ and can use everything in the kitchen. Rebecca is easy-going and really kind. Her kids are adorable and really polite. Definitely I would go back. :)

My stay at the place of Maria Teresa is my first work away experience. I decided to choose this place quite sponteneusly and I am really happy with how things worked out for me. I learned a lot about the interesting places to visit around Noto. Maria Teresa listened to my travel related wish list and inspired me, and gave me ideas of places to visit, foods to try, places to shop. My work was mainly to take care of 2 dogs - Lana and Ray, and 3 cats (Filú, Leo and Mimi). I really adored those animals and quickly connected with them. I spend some time training the dogs and going with them for short walks. Some mornings I would be around to see how the works around the house are going. I also took some pictures of items to be sold and posted them on the second hand platform. I loved my room, having my private space, opportunity to watch the sunrise and the sunsets, the sky full of stars and sometimes even thunderstorms. Or just simply looking into canyon and being in the middle of nature. I will miss this place ! Thank you Maria Teresa for hosting me.
