Eva spent about a week at our farm. She helped us feed the chicken, ducks, cleaned the coops and kept them happy. She helped us in the garden as well as in the upkeep of the farm overall. She ommunicates well, worked together as part of the farm team and able to contribute effectively. We are happy that she too enjoyed the farm as we appreciate her volunteering at our farm.

I volunteered for one month at this place in Semonkong. During my stay I was mainly responsible for creating content for their social media, especially making short videos for Instagram. Moreover, I took over the website, so I could do some minor updates. Because I was there during the busiest time of the year (Christmas holidays), I worked most of the time independently as Mannini was busy with guests and administration work. However, the last days we were able to work together more, which was great fun! I was warmly welcomed by Mannini and her family, I miss you guys! It is important to know that the accommodation is back to basic: there is no running water, no electricity and no wifi. I washed myself in a basin and the compost toilet is outside. For me, this was no problem. I also brought my own solar panel and power bank, so I was able to work on my phone. Be prepared that there is no schedule, so a flexible and proactive mindset is key. You can always discuss this with Mannini, she is very open for feedback. I really enjoyed my stay in Semonkong. The place is beautifully located in the mountains and I loved the horseriding with Thuto, an experienced guide! Thank you for letting me stay and we will definitely keep in touch!

Lars stayed with us in August of 2023. Lars immediately became part of our family and we had no hesitation in allowing him to extend his stay. Lars has great interpersonal skills with guests, good housekeeping skills, and an overall just a fun person to be around. He is responsible and passionate about exploring the outdoors. We would be delighted to have Lars again anytime.

Delsia stayed with us for one and a half months, and during that time she became much more than a guest.She became part of our family. She is an incredibly kind, helpful, and warm hearted person with excellent communication skills. Every moment we spent together was full and meaningful. We worked together in the garden, shared daily life, and she cooked wonderful meals for us. She helped with simple household tasks and completed everything she did with great care, attention, and responsibility. You could truly feel the effort and love she put into every task. We celebrated New Year’s Eve together, creating unforgettable memories as Turkish and Uruguayan dances blended into pure joy and laughter. The thoughtful gifts she chose for each of us touched our hearts deeply .It showed how much she truly cared.There are so many beautiful moments we could share. She arrived as a stranger, but she left as a member of our family. We will always keep our door open for her. Kuzey Sarp and Kenan Pars miss her very much too. Our dear friend Delsia, you will always be welcome here. ❤️🤍💙

My time was excellent. I spent a little over a month there in August and enjoyed it so much I returned in December for another month. Through house and property are beautiful and is the perfect place to check out from the rush of the big cities but still be close enough you can visit on your time off. Konstantyn is extremely welcoming and made sure you felt comfortable in his home. He is very proud of what he does and of the place, as he should be it is a beautiful place, both in the summer and winter. The beauitful animals, Cannella, Gigi, Layla and Aku are all very special and extremely welcoming as well. Work was never too strenuous, in the summer most of my time was spent outdoors in the veggie garden, harvesting berries, working on different projects and helping with the guests. In the winter, I worked mostly on projects in the house, by the fire and helped with the artwork of the house, which again is a beautiful thing that makes this place what it is. Konstantyn would prepare a delicious lunch every day after work and most dinners and would always make sure the kitchen was stocked. You truly feel very spoilt. The surrounding area and towns are all lovely and it was easy to spend afternoons and weekends exploring. Konstantyn would always offer to to include me in his plans, often venturing to the beach, thermal springs or out to dinner with friends. Overall an amazing stay and one I would highly recommend.

My stay at Kim and Pet’s ranch was an amazing experience! I felt truly welcomed, and they always made sure I was feeling comfortable and happy. I learned so much during those two weeks, and Kim took the time to teach me new skills, such as horse lunging. All the animals are treated incredibly well. The donkeys are even smiling ;) Thank you for this beautiful time at the ranch !

I stayed with Chendi for 1 month in December/January and had a great experience. This is a very unique and beautiful place, super peaceful and it was so special to live so secluded from everything. It's also about living in a primitive and simple way, which I liked. Chendi did his best to have a good variety of activities and little jobs during my stay, which was nice. An experience I will never forget!

Having Nicole here was a truly wonderful experience for our family. She was kind, respectful, and very open to learning about our culture and daily rural life. She adapted easily to simple living, showed patience and understanding, and always approached everything with a positive attitude. We appreciated her calm presence, genuine curiosity, and the way she connected naturally with our family and surroundings. She respected our home, our routines, and the rhythm of village life, making her stay comfortable and meaningful for everyone. We are grateful for the time we shared together and would happily welcome her again in the future.

Grace was incredibly harmonious with the land, the people, and the other animals in the area. Despite her young age, her calm and peaceful personality was already well-established. She made us feel this quality both at work and at other times. She was always open to learning and hardworking, even in jobs she knew nothing about. Celebrating her birthday here was very meaningful :) Maybe we'll get together again. May you have many more good fortune, Grace!

¡Qué experiencia extraordinaria! Pasamos cuatro semanas. Teníamos a nuestra disposición una cabaña con todas las comodidades necesarias para disfrutar de una estancia excelente. Las jornadas de trabajo son muy completas y las tareas cambian con regularidad (hacer leña, cuidar de las ovejas y las gallinas, limpieza de las cabañas de los turistas, trabajos de construcción y reparación). Los horarios se respetan bien y teníamos los fines de semana libres para visitar los alrededores y pescar en el lago. Trabajamos con German la mayor parte del tiempo. Es una persona increíble que te contará su historia fascinante a través de las diferentes fotos del museo. También ayudamos a Daniella, su hija, y a Martin en la construcción de la ampliación de su casa. Es una familia auténtica y de una amabilidad increíble. Pasamos momentos excelentes con ellos y la despedida no fue fácil. No hablábamos muy bien español a nuestra llegada, pero todo el mundo nos ayudó, y nos vamos con un nivel suficiente para desenvolvernos en la vida cotidiana. Un enorme agradecimiento a German, Maricela, Daniella, Martin, Alonso y Simon por su acogida, su amabilidad y los recuerdos increíbles que quedarán grabados para siempre en nuestra memoria. --------- Quelle expérience extraordinaire ! Nous avons passé quatre semaines. Nous avions à disposition une cabane avec tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour. Les journées de travail sont bien remplies et les missions changent régulièrement (faire du bois, s’occuper des moutons et des poules, ménage dans les cabanes des touristes, travaux de construction et de réparation). Les horaires sont bien respectés et nous avions les week-ends off pour visiter les alentours et pêcher au lac. Nous avons travaillé avec German la plupart du temps. C’est une personne incroyable qui vous racontera son histoire époustouflante à travers les différentes photos du musée. Nous avons également aidé Daniella, sa fille, et Martin dans la construction de l’extension de leur maison. C’est une famille authentique et d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons passé d’excellents moments avec eux et le départ n’a pas été simple. Nous ne parlions pas très bien espagnol à notre arrivée, mais tout le monde nous a aidés, et nous repartons avec un niveau suffisant pour nous débrouiller dans la vie de tous les jours. Un grand merci à German, Maricela, Daniella, Martin, Alonso et Simon pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et les souvenirs incroyables qui sont gravés à jamais dans nos mémoires.

Even though more than half a year has passed, I still wanted to write this from the heart. Ischia was my first ever volunteering experience, and it honestly surprised me in the best possible way. Thank you so much, Claudio, for such an unforgettable time on this beautiful island. Even now, months later, I still think about so many moments there — the hikes, the sea, the simple everyday life — and every time it brings me warmth and a smile. I’m truly grateful for how welcome I felt from the very beginning. To this day, I still share this experience with my friends and talk about how special it was. I love an active lifestyle, and this project was exactly that — hiking, kayaking, and spending time in nature. It just felt right. What made it even more meaningful was you, Claudio. You’re a very kind and understanding person. You always paid attention to how we were feeling and tried to plan things in a way that everyone felt safe, comfortable, and included. That really meant a lot and made the experience feel human and genuine. This volunteering experience gave me so much more than I expected, and I’ll always carry Ischia and these memories with me. Thank you for everything.

Had the best week and a half. Adrian was able to provide varied and interesting work, whether that was chopping wood, prepping meals or keeping the firegoing. Long shifts were rewarded and was lucky enough to go skiing as well as free diving. I'm timed my trip well and managed to help Adrian finish the sauna on wheels which is awesome if you get the chance! Food was tasty and nutritious, location is stunning and was lucky enough to meet his family and friends for company during the week! Couldn't ask for anything more! Thanks brother, hopefully be back one spring/ summer.

Magnifique expérience avec périne et très belle rencontre humaine ✨ Elle à fait très vite partie de la famille. Elle s'adapte à tout, elle est minutieuse, attentives, elle touche à tout et apprend vite. Elle prend d'elle même des initiatives, elle est bienveillante, drôle, intéressante et interressé. Elle nous à beaucoup soulagé sur l'entretient de la structure. C'est une femme passionnante et passionné, très bonne danseuse avec pleins de talents que l'ont découvre au fur et mesure qu'on apprend à la connaître. Nous la recommandons sans hésitation . Gros pincement au cœur pour tout le monde quand elle est partie, mais la porte est grande ouverte si elle souhaite revenir. Mamma Mia, c'est une très belle rencontre

Bellingen is a lovely small town, with an enjoyable creek, nice shops and bars. The Guesthouse is so comfortable and relaxing. The managers are friendly and nice, and it is a good place to meet lot of people, and locals such as water dragon, possum, bats & others ;). The work was also easy to do. It was really a great experience. Thank you !

My stay with Marcin was a truly excellent experience. He was most accommodating to anything I needed and was infinitely wise about the surrounding area and lifestyle. If you enjoy living remotely out in rural landscapes, the Polish/Slovakian border lands are the perfect place for you to enjoy some magical scenery. Working with all the animals was a real highlight of my stay with Marcin and frankly I couldn’t recommend him higher as a host!

Kimberly and Rudmer are truly exceptional, kindhearted hosts. I had a lovely month and a half stay with them in their private guesthouse, helping to take care of their animals while one or both of them were traveling. The work is extremely reasonable and there is plenty of opportunity to help more, as well as to learn about local plants and wildlife. The caretaker home is private and stocked with basic living supplies (including wifi). It sits at the base of the volcano with a truly amazing view, separated from the main house by a gate. If you love animals, you will see plenty, including the neighboring cows, horses, chickens, turkeys, magpie-jays, parrots, howler monkeys, iguanas & the list goes on. They were extremely accommodating and generous -- always inviting me to go out with them to visit different places on the island or to come over for a coffee or smoothie. Rudmer and I went hiking with their dogs to the local waterfall, which I highly recommend. Kimberly and I also did crossfit together in the mornings. If you have the chance to stay with them, do it! I will miss them, the farm and the animals very much!

Chiara llego a la fundacion y de inmediato conecto con el grupo de voluntarios y el equipo de trabajo. Realmente es una persona increible, totalmente recomendable para participar de un voluntariado. Su empatia, proactividad y ganas de ayudar se destacan en ella. Compartimos hermosos momentos que van a quedar para siempre en nuestros recuerdos.. Sarah was a huge help, learning very quickly, paying attention to many types of big & small mission's that I have in my garden. It was a pleasure & inspiration to openly share cultural experiences in my mother language English with her kind & gentle nature. Thanks Sarah for sharing your skill's, kind & very caring help.
