Jurgen, two border collies: Waya & Hakan, two cats: Denali & Balobi, as well as a coop full of free range chicken.
We live totally off-grid at our eco-friendly Mountain Retreat , a down to earth guest farm.
It's all about digital detox eco-tourism, hiking trails, rock climbing, mountain trekking, canyoning and then some adventure activities.
We've got an organic/permaculture garden to feed us as far as possible.

Here you'll get a good dose of nature, eco-friendliness, conscious living in close range of a wild mountain environment. You'll learn hands on farm skills and how to prepare healthy wholesome meals, when ever possible straight from our organic garden.

Volunteering tasks range from fieldwork, building & renovation and painting, hiking trail maintenance, permaculture gardening, composting, feeding chicken, preparing shared meals etc
Where possible we all work together in a team, however volunteers need to be able to work on their own and be comfortable with the remoteness of the farm, limited WiFi yet no mobile phone connection. Get ready for a Digital Detox (if you choose)!
We are looking for outdoorsy, hands-on volunteers (bring your hiking boots!). Practical experience is a bonus!

Volunteers stay in our caravan or safari dome tent, depending numbers of volunteers (max. 4). There are hot open air showers and compost toilets. Healthy, wholesome breakfast and lunch on work days are provided and shared with us. Volunteers help in our home kitchen. Evening meals and off-days you cater mostly for yourself. Basic cooking and fridge facility are provided at the Volunteer Caravan.

For your free time there's plenty if hiking trails, sport climbing, yoga & and mediation space or if you have your own transport visit the surrounding villages, wine farms, more sport climbing, river rafting, horse riding, zip sliding and other adventure activities.
