We have a large garden, 2 dogs and a lodge, which we occasionally rent out the weekends which requires general maintenance.
We are open to your creativity and talents, so any type of sustainable home improvements are welcome!
Feel free to share your ideas with us to make this place special.
We are living in Cajón del Maipo part-time, an hour away from Santiago city. Our house is situated right in front of a river and mountains with lots of native trees, where you will be peaceful and relaxed.
There are beautiful mountains and thermal water within 2 hours from our home. You can also enjoy trekking, rafting, climbing, and bathing in rivers nearby.

Here in Maipo the environment is completely different to Santiago, despite being so close.
Buses run every 15mins. to Santiago so Workawayers can explore the city for a reasonable price, or even you could go with me in a car when I am here.
Sharing meals and travel experiences is a very nice exchange.

Ajuda
Any help is welcome! Help us in the garden, taking care of fruit trees and vegetables, help to improve some storage places, help fixing installations if we need. We could create mandalas outside, and any kind of earthship solutions.
Now we have a lodge which we rent for tourists and helps sustain our project. Preparation for guests stay is needed. Nothing intensive and still we maintain a relaxed environment for everyone!
Types of help required:
- house cleaning and general maintenance
- looking after our two dogs
- any suggestions to make more eco friendly
Specific talent needed for:
- extend/fix water sprinkler so that I don't need to water my garden manually
- planting vegetables in our garden, sadly all vegetable are dead now...
- creative art projects like mosaic, painting, decorations to make our garden more beautiful

We were into the secrets of Indian food and I learned a lot with her.
She took good care of the house and the dogs, and she did good job. She is a mart, and a talented artist.
She painted a dinning table surface and left us with a tasty jar of lemon pickles to us and new recipes of course !

Luka is young and energetic, she created an excelentes mosaic on the floor and helped coking , watered the trees , prepared lodge for visitors, she had excellent communication skills. Adapt to the new situations and gave beautiful energy. Really independent and self disciplined. It was a true inspiration .

This was a very nice workaway experience. The property is beautiful and tranquil. I was here for two weeks and spent most of the time picking apples. Anita is caring and attentive and allows a good balance of workawayer independence, such as cooking our own meals.
