No space until August 2026
Hi helpers,
we are a lively family of five, but our children are grown up (33, 36, 38) now. And we have 4 grandchildren, Just born,5, 7,9,12 years, visiting us often,
We enjoy having people from other countries staying with us.
Our oldest daughter went to New Zealand and travelled as a helper. Some years ago in January, our second daughter went to Australia for 3 month and she had also a lot of very good experience.
So we thought it is a good idea to offer our lovely home for helpers.
There is always something to do.
It is possible, to use our internet and TV.
I speak English.

You will experience a daily life of a German family from having the typical local food to sharing our life style (playing games in the evening...). If you are interested we are happy to communicate with you in German (we speak Hochdeutsch at home ;) ).

We are living in a forest with a big lake in front of our doorstep.
We have got 2 cats and of cause fish!
Our home is close to the river "Elbe" and the area "Altes-Land", a region which is famous for growing fruit trees such as apples, pears, cherries, plums,...
The closest city is Stade, where you can find a lovely historic city center.
Also the way to Cuxhaven, Hamburg and Bremen is only 1h to 1:30h.
The next train station (S-Bahn) is only 10 min. by foot, so there are lots of opportunities of spending hopefully sunny days in our region.
There will be shared meals everyday.
We cook not vegetarien either vegan and we will not cook extra meals. -

elke and rudi, they are very kind people, they made us part of their family since we arrived, they invited us to an event with their family, we went to the beach with elke and his grandchildren, we played board games.

The propriety is 1 meter next to the lake, very nice, you can do paddle or barque.
Rudi and Elke were very nice to me and even gave me money when I had a problem with my credit card. Thank you again.
