Hi, my name is Michał and I'm 40 y.o. libriarian from north-west Poland. I had two passions in my life. One was my job, two was travelling. And for several years I could't decided which one is more important for me. Now I left all my life behind me. I sold my apartment, quit my job and now I'm gonna be just a world citizen, without home and address. But it would be nice if somebody host me on my way.

I have dreamed about traveling around Europe for many years, but first I had decided to get to know my own country thoroughly, which turned out to be more beautiful than I could have imagined.

In 2021 I started my lonely bicycle trip around Europe, I started from Poland through Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Unfortunatly this crazy Covid time disturb me a lot,

But I hope it still could be Travel around Europe... and later maybe around the world....

Work Experience
Librarian / Reading Promoter , Municipal Public Library , Kostrzyn/Oder,
Poland
January 2015 - March 2021

During the two-year general renovation of the Library, I was responsible
for inventing, developing and creating a new visual identication system
for the Library.
For 5 years, every year I organized a bicycle rally for the library's readers -
a group ride on bikes through the streets under the escort of the police,
ending with a picnic and a meeting with a famous Polish writer.

In the years 2013-2014 I was the initiator and coordinator of the
organization of the 9th National Forum of Young Librarians in my city -
with the participation of over a thousand people from all over Poland. I
acted as an intermediary in contacts between all Libraries in the city
during the preparations for the forum, then I was responsible for
welcoming and accommodating the participants of the forum, as well as
for organizing an integration dinner and short integration and cognitive
tours around the city at the end of the forum.
I worked in various departments of the Library - in each of them I
had a different scope of duties and a different prole of clients.
