  If you are available for these dates, please write to us 😊 We are a family with two children (Valen, 11, and Salvi, 9). We have a tea house, rooms for tourists, and an organic garden for our own consumption. We live in a mountain village 40km from San Martín de los Andes. We are 1100 meters from the lake and 400 meters from the river. We are powered by solar panels. We bake our own pastries and bread daily. A few years ago, we moved to our new house, which is still under construction. We're always looking for volunteers to lend a hand with whatever we need, since we do most of the maintenance, tidying, and cleaning ourselves.
  
  We're looking for energetic, cheerful, and committed volunteers who want to help us with our garden, the lawn, the compost, stacking firewood, tidying and cleaning, and anything else that comes up. No prior experience is necessary; we'll always teach you what you need 😊😊).

  Somos una familia con dos niños ( Valen de 11 y Salvi de 9). Tenemos una casa de te, habitaciones para turistas y una huerta orgánica para consumo propio. Vivimos en una aldea de montaña a 40km de San Martín de los Andes. Estamos a 1100 mts del Lago y 400 mts del río. Nos abastecemos de energía solar a través de paneles solares. Elaboramos nuestra pastelería y panadería todos los días. Hace unos años nos mudamos a nuestra casa nueva que aun nos falta terminar.
  Estamos siempre en la búsqueda de voluntarios que nos den una mano en lo que vayamos precisando, ya que la mayoría del mantenimiento, el orden y la limpieza la realizamos nosotros. Los esperamos
  
  (Buscamos voluntarios con energía, alegres y comprometidos. Que quieran venir a ayudarnos con nuestra huerta, el pasto, con el compost, acomodando leña, con el orden y la limpieza, y todo lo que vaya surgiendo. No hace falta que sepan, nosotros siempre enseñamos lo que haga falta😊😊).

  You will meet an Argentine family, their language and their customs. The villa is a place where you can go hiking in the mountains, relax by the lake, observe the landscapes, do sports on the lake.   Conocerán una familia argentina, su idioma y sus costumbres. Villa Meliquina es un lugar donde se pueden hacer caminatas por la montaña, descansar en el lago, observar los paisajes, hacer deportes en el lago. Además de disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar. Cada estación tiene su encanto: verano actividades en el lago como el windsurf, andar en canoa o nadar, otoño disfrutar y caminar observado los colores de las montañas, invierno disfrutar de la nieve, primavera todo florece y comienza la época de la pesca (trucha).
  Es un lugar ideal para la fotografía, ya que al no haber tendido eléctrico, el cielo se ve fantástico. Al igual que el paisaje y las aves que nos rodean
  Según la época del año pueden acercarse a nosotros y aprender de nuestras tareas.
  Si quieren pueden aprender las tareas para hacer funcionar una huerta orgánica.
  Creemos que el mayor intercambio lo tienen con otros voluntarios también, ya que intentamos que sean de distintos países y distintos idiomas para que puedan entablar conversaciones y aprender entre todos y conocer distintas culturas.
  Podrán disfrutar del intercambio cultural en la convivencia con otros voluntarios.

  We need volunteers who love the mountains and tranquility, as we live in a village, a rugged place in Neuquén, Patagonia, Argentina.
  
  The tasks we need help with include organizing wood, tidying up materials scattered around the property, stacking firewood, weeding the vegetable garden, preparing compost, among other tasks that will come up as needed, and helping us keep the garden and kitchen clean and tidy. We are always willing to teach anything necessary.
  
  We are interested in hearing different life stories, travel experiences, and learning other languages. We almost always have more than two volunteers, and we try to have them from different countries so they can speak different languages. Most people learn a lot this way 😉. We are also interested in learning about yoga or stretching.
  You can also help by playing with our children when we are busy.
  
  We believe that your willingness to do what we need and share moments with us is super important 🤗. We really appreciate it when things are clean and tidy, as we sometimes don't have the time, but it helps a lot with daily chores.
  We love trying different foods from around the world, so if you ever cook something from your country or culture, we'd love for you to make a little bit for us! 😁

  Necesitamos voluntarios que les guste la montaña y la tranquilidad, ya que vivimos en la villa, un lugar agreste en Neuquén, Patagonia Argentina.
  Las tareas que necesitamos que nos ayuden son ordenar madera, acomodar materiales que están dispersos por el terreno, Acomodar leña, desyuyar la huerta, preparar compost, entre otras tareas que irán surgiendo en el momento, ayudarnos a mantener limpio y ordenado el jardín y la cocina. Siempre estamos dispuestos a enseñar lo que sea necesario.
  
  Estamos interesados en conocer distintas historias de vida, viajes, aprender otros idiomas, casi siempre son más de dos voluntarios e intentamos que sean de distintos países para que puedan hablar en distintos idiomas. La mayoría aprende muchísimo así 😉. También nos interesa aprender sobre yoga o streching.
  También nos pueden ayudar jugando con nuestros niños cuando nosotros estemos ocupados.
  Creemos que es súper importante la predisposición que traigan para hacer lo que necesitamos y compartir momentos con nosotros 🤗.
  Nos gusta mucho cuando son limpios y ordenados ya que a veces nosotros no tenemos el tiempo pero eso ayuda muchísimo en los quehaceres diarios.
  Amamos conocer comidas del mundo, así que si un día cocinas algo de tu país, cultura, nos encantaría que nos hagas un poquito para nosotros. 😁

  Cuando eramos niños estudiamos ingles pero olvidamos casi todo. Nuestros hijos estan aprendido así que seria muy lindo que puedan jugar en ingles o francés y enseñarnos mientras compartimos algún momento. (el idioma nos hace viajar dentro de casa😍 )

  Hébergement

  We have a cabin that was the previous tea house. It is located next to the current tea house and our house. The cabin has a room with two double beds, and a single bed in the hallway. Everything upstairs. And on the ground floor there is a kitchen (a stove with two burners) with kitchen utensils to use, a bathroom with a hot shower through a wood-burning heater, an armchair to relax next to the salamander for wood-burning heating.
  In the villa there are three warehouses that can supply what they need. We offer the supplies so that they can cook in your cabin. (Vegetables, fruits, meat, bakery products, legumes, we do not offer dairy).
  We always ask that you keep everything as clean and tidy as possible.
  
  Another important issue for us is that we do not smoke and we have two small children, that is, we do not allow them to smoke inside the cabin or near the children or within the entire complex.
  The villa is an ecological town in a certain part. We supply ourselves with solar energy, and we take great care of the light. we have electricity and wifi 24 hours a day. We separate the waste and make compost that we use for the garden.

  Tenemos una cabaña que era la casa de te anterior. Se encuentra al lado de la casa de te actual y nuestra casa. La cabaña cuenta con una habitación con dos camas dobles, y una cama individual en el pasillo. Todo en la planta alta. Y en la planta baja hay una cocina (una anafe con dos hornallas) con utensilios de cocina para usar, baño con ducha caliente a través de un calefón a leña, un sillón para relajarse al lado de la salamandra para calefaccionar a leña.
  La villa hay tres almacenes que podrán abastecerse de lo que necesiten. Nosotros ofrecemos los insumos para que puedan cocinarse en su cabaña. (Verduras, frutas, carne, productos de panaderia, legumbres, no ofrecemos lacteos).
  Siempre les pedimos que dejen todo lo más limpio y ordenado posible.
  
  Otro tema importante para nosotros es que no fumamos y tenemos dos nenes pequeños osea que no permitimos que fumen dentro de la cabaña ni cerca de los niños ni dentro de todo el complejo.
  La villa es un pueblo ecológico en cierta parte. Nos abastecemos de energia solar, y cuidamos mucho la luz. Tenemos luz y wifi las 24 horas del dia. Separamos los residuos y hacemos compost que usamos para la huerta.
  Los esperamos para contarles un poco más lo que hacemos en Meliquina. No duden en escribirnos y consultarnos lo que sea necesario.

  Viniendo acá podrán conocer nuestro alrededor que tiene un paisaje de ensueño. Además de ir a conocer Filo hua hum, Villa la angostura, siete lagos, San Martin de los andes entre otros paraísos. Nosotros estamos dispuestos a contarles los lugares hermosos que hay cerca.
  La mayoría de los voluntarios se maneja haciendo dedo así llegan a distintos lugares.
  San Martin de los andes tiene aeropuerto y terminal de bus. Y existe un bus (Via Bariloche- Albus) que hace siete lagos y pasa por la puerta de Meliquina.
  También Bariloche tiene aeropuerto y terminal de bus y hay colectivo que hace siete lagos que los deja en el cruce de la ruta 63. Y después desde ese lugar hacer dedo hasta nuestra casa.
  
  Nos gustaria antes de concretar la visita poder hablar por whatsapp con los voluntarios.
