Description
Located in the hill country near the hot springs of Saturnia we are creating an oasis of peace, renewal and healing. Our farm offers a rare opportunity to immerse in silent and peaceful natural environment with the darkest starry skies you have ever seen (no light smog).
Our animals (horses, donkeys, goats, chicken, dog and cats) are integrated with us, giving us much joy and life. Especially the horses are messengers of the divine and incredible mirrors and healers.
Besides these wonderful domestic creatures we are also surrounded by much wild life like wild boars, deer, foxes, porcupines, falcons and seldom seen even wolves.
We are open to people willing to co-create this paradise on earth with their ideas and energy.
Life is somewhat simple in caravans, tents, outdoor kitchen, toilet and shower.
We live on a rural property of 23 hectares and there are lots of opportunities to contribute to the development of the land by working the garden, with the animals, woods, harvesting olive oil from our own trees, cooking and preparing food and more.
Each morning over breakfast , we'll discuss and decide together on the day's acivivites ensuring a collaborative and flexible approach to the work.
We have an abundance of food from our garden, especially fresh vegetables and berries.
The majority of meals are plant based and simple: pasta, rice, home-made bread and very rarely meat and fish. One warm meal will be served for lunch. Breakfast and dinner will be prepared according to individual needs. VEGETARIANS; MACROBIOTIC VEGANS ETC.....ARE MORE THAN WELCOME!
We aim to have the midday meal together since the eating time is a good opportunity to come together to talk and share interests and ideas.

The rich heritage of the Etruscan culture can still be felt very much in this region and one can find rare places where one feels the sacredness and closeness to nature.
The warm thermal springs of Saturnia can be reached in 10 minutes. According to legend, Saturn, the god of harvest and abundance who chose this land as his home, lost patience with men who were constantly at war. He hurled a thunderbolt at the earth and suddenly hot sulphurous water gushed from the crater, which flowed through the valleys and plains, calming the spirits of the humans, bringing serenity and harmony. It was the beginning of a golden age devoted to agriculture, hunting and love.
The Etruscans, with their wisdom, recognised in these waters a sacred manifestation, a symbol of the connection between earth and sky, where telluric energies materialised in liquid form, emerging at the perfect temperature of the human body – 37.5°C . The Romans, with their pragmatism, called them Aquae Sanctae, attributing this name to the extraordinary therapeutic effects observed. As Bacci documented in 1588: ‘Saturniae, item coloniae, balneum trans Umbronem fluvium, antiquum est… Extant et balnei antiqua vestigia’ – testimony to the enduring importance of this place.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre
