Hola, soy Timo de Finlandia. Mucho gusto! I have been traveling in Peru for close to two months now. Everything I have read and heard about the country has fascinated me. I'm inspired to learn about local culture, shamanism, language and nature.

Finland has a long and dark winter. I like spending time in warmer climates, where people and nature are more lively. I have been to Brazil before, and this is my first time in Peru. I'm hoping to connect with people who can help me, and who I can help in return.

Que habilidades tienes?

I am skilled at organizing people, events and households, cooking nourishing food and, in general, taking responsibility and initiative. I've worked as a caretaker of the old and disabled, and I've taught guitar for many years. I'm good with my hands, fixing or building computers and other devices, and I can also sharpen knives and chop firewood.

I have graduated from the Jyväskylä university as a master of musicology. Several associations have had me as a chairman, and I've organized volunteer teams in many festivals.

My interests in Peru include shamanism, medicinal plants, language, native culture, music, events, plants, animals and local cuisine.

I like to play all sorts of games, both board games and computer games, and I'm can join a jam wherever there's a guitar to play.

I practice presence in the moment, observing my emotions, thoughts and whatever is happening, and I do so with the help of deep breathing, meditation and yoga. I'm happy to share these things with anyone interested.
