Hi dear host!
First of all, thank you for considering me as a possible new member of your family! It’s truly a pleasure for me to take part in cultural exchange experiences, and I’m excited about the possibility of sharing moments, skills, and stories with you.

My name is Şima, and I’m a Genetics and Bioengineering graduate—soon to be a PhD candidate in Australia (hopefully starting this Oct!). While science is a big part of my life, I deeply enjoy being connected to nature, animals, and people. I’m not someone who just looks for a place to rest during summer—I genuinely enjoy being active, helping around, and learning new skills. Whether it’s gardening, cleaning, organizing, or taking care of animals or plants, I’m always ready to roll up my sleeves and be useful.

I’ve been lucky to live and travel in several countries like the USA, Australia, Singapore, and many parts of Europe. These experiences have shown me how powerful and joyful cultural exchange can be. I love meaningful conversations, learning new traditions, and sharing my own.

I’m also a fast learner—especially when it comes to hands-on work. I enjoy discovering how things are done in different homes and adapting quickly. I love kids, and I find great joy in spending time with them, playing, and teaching if there's a chance.
