Hi! We are two friends from the Czech Republic. I am 26 years old and I have recently graduated in Law (Sabina), and my friend Katerina is 25 and in her final year of Medical School. Even though we both studied demanding fields, we love spending our free time travelling, meeting new people, and discovering different ways of life.

We both grew up in small villages in South Bohemia, so we are used to being around nature and helping with all kinds of housework and outdoor chores.

In 2021, I spent some time as a workawayer in Ireland, where I was looking after a dog – it was my first experience like this and I really enjoyed it. In 2022, we volunteered together for two weeks on a rescue farm in Portugal, where we became part of the local community. That was an amazing experience and made us want to continue helping and exploring new places. In 2023, we both looked after a cat in Barcelona, which was another great way to combine travelling with caring for animals.

We also have experience working as a waitress, so we are comfortable dealing with people and assisting in the household. We are both used to doing laundry, vacuuming, and general cleaning. Cooking isn’t our biggest strength, but we are always happy to learn new recipes and can handle basic meals. On the other hand, I really enjoy baking – I have even baked cakes for birthday parties.

We absolutely love animals and nature. We both have dogs living with our parents, and I (Sabina) also have two cats, so we are very familiar with taking care of pets. I have been riding horses on and off for about ten years, so big animals on a farm are not unfamiliar to me either.

In our free time, we like playing the guitar and ukulele (self-taught) and listening to any kind of music.

As for languages, we speak English at a communicative level and are looking forward to practising it more in everyday situations. We both learned German in school but only remember the basics. And of course, we can speak Czech, so if you would like to learn some Czech words, we would be happy to teach you.

We are friendly, easygoing, and curious people who love to have fun, help out, and share stories with others.

We are capable of handling all basic housework, including simple cooking and baking. We are experienced in caring for animals such as dogs and cats, and have basic horse riding skills. We are eager to learn new things and quickly adapt to new tasks.
