Kia ora (Hello)! Our names and Josh and Amelia. We are from Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Living in New Zealand, we love the outdoors! Hiking, beautiful day walks and any type of adventure are the top of our list for what brings us happiness. Kayaking, camping, and beautiful scenery also. Any new outdoor adventure is something we will put our hands up for!

We love talking to and meeting new people, hearing about their way of life and experiences really intrigues and motivates us to search for our own new experiences to learn more about ourselves, others and the amazing world that we are so lucky to live in. We both have kind, energetic personalities, love to learn and will give anything a go!

Amelia has a bachelors degree in aviation and a post graduate diploma in management. She is a bit of an aviation geek and loves everything about planes and airports - she has worked in one the last 3 years. Amelia enjoys practising yoga, and we both practice meditation. She fills her spare time (when she is not having fun with Josh and/or friends outdoors) with reading, going to the gym, connecting with friends, and planning travel, to name a few! Amelia is a very on the go, organised person who loves to chat to anyone about anything. She also has a great sense of humour and a can do attitude.

Josh is a qualified carpenter and has worked on both commercial and residential projects for the last 9 years. Josh loves fishing! Everything about the sea/lakes/rivers to fishing on the boat or fishing on the shore. Josh is a great at Netball and played at a regional level in the mens team for a few years. He also enjoys Mauy Thai martial arts which he trains a couple of times a week. Josh is an excellent snowboarder and loves to hit up the mountain when the snow is good. He also enjoys cross country skiing which he learnt in Antarctica. When Josh isn't doing some form of physical activity he is pottering around doing upgrades on the house, connecting with friends, or watching a TV show, to name a few! Josh is very easy going and good natured, and has a great sense of humour. He can be a little shy to begin with but after an introduction the conversation starts flowing easy.

Que habilidades tienes?

Josh is a qualified carpenter with 8 years of experience in New Zealand. He also has just completed a season of building down in Antarctica so has experience building and working in extreme conditions. He also has arctic skills such as knowing how to drive a snowmobile etc. Josh is strong and naturally athletic so picks up any physical skill very quickly. He has a great attention to detail and and is also a good fisherman.

Amelia is not so much a handyman but is very quick learner, will give anything a go, and will ask questions to make sure she gets it done right. She is very organised and has good time management skills. Amelia has a great attention to detail so is excellent at cleaning and other household chores, and also prides herself on being pretty good cook/baker.

We met working at Subway part-time during high school so both have experience and skills in hospitality including barista.

Both of us are self starters and put 100% effort into all jobs/tasks with a good natured attitude. We are also both great with kids and animals. Amelia has experience in babysitting younger and older children.
