Hi! I'm Izzy, a 26yo from Northern Ireland. I work in nature conservation & marine biology. I absolutely love travelling and experiencing new places and people. My favourite thing to do is explore the outdoors - eg swimming, hiking, running, diving & surfing. I also love cooking, trying new food and coffee!! I'm enthusiastic and pretty easy-going, but also like working hard. I grew up on a livestock farm so I'm used to helping with all kinds of tasks.
I'm hoping to stay in Andalusia (maybe near Granada) for a few weeks (28th April - 16th May) to improve my Spanish, since I have some time before I start a new job in September. Any recommendations are welcome :)

My educational background has been in Biology, especially conservation biology - I currently work in national park management and will be supporting marine conservation projects in my new job. I have done a variety of practical jobs relating to conservation, from volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary to carrying out coral reef research - I have loved it all.
I have grown up helping around the farm, so can give most tasks a go - I am happy feeding and looking after animals, fixing broken bits of equipment, weeding, gardening etc.
I regularly babysit/childmind, and love getting to know the kids I look after. Currently, I am also tutoring school age (GCSE) Biology and Chemistry, so I would be happy to help kids learn some English. I also love cooking for others, and have worked in multiple cafés & coffee shops.
Although art is not my main skill, I have also enjoyed painting educational art on school buildings and classrooms - murals etc.
