My name is Hugo, and I’m excited to begin a journey of cultural exchange and meaningful connections through Workaway. Originally from France, I’m 19 years old and currently studying engineering. I’ve always been curious about the world and passionate about meeting people from diverse cultures. While my travel experience is still growing, I see this as an incredible opportunity to embrace new adventures and broaden my horizons.

I’m a friendly, adaptable, and responsible person who thrives in collaborative environments. Whether it's working on a project or helping out around the house, I enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself. My past experiences managing teams and problem-solving in various roles have taught me to work well under pressure and adapt to different situations.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active through sports, exploring nature, and occasionally getting lost in a good book or a creative project. I also love cooking, and I’d be happy to share some French recipes—or learn yours! I find joy in discovering the simple yet unique aspects of each community, and I’m eager to dive into new experiences with an open mind and a positive attitude.

As I'm fascinated by the different cultures of the countries around me, I've been able to visit several countries, including France, England, Germany and Spain. In fact, for countries other than France, I was able to discover cities such as London, Berlin and Cologne. All these experiences enabled me to discover a new culture but also to be in contact with the locals, so to practise the language. I could potentially help you to learn French, a language that is very dear to me. But I could also help you in English if you wish. I currently have a B1 level in English. But of course I'm keen to discover your language and practise it with you.

Que habilidades tienes?

I'm good at anything computer-related. But that's not all I do, I know how to use tools, I can do housework, gardening, and why not even welding...

I have computer skills (because being in engineering school and passionate about computers I was able to develop skills) but I admit that I don't do that all day long. I prefer helping others and above all being able to share moments.

I also love being around children. In fact, I've been working for over 5 years in an association that organises events for children, so I've been able to keep my childlike spirit and above all I'm fascinated by the conversations you can have with them.

As well as my studies, I also do sport, weight training and badminton.

As I come from a musical family, I play the drums and the guitar.
