! I'M TRAVELING AUSTRALIA AND SOUTH EST !
Hello dear hosts!!
I'm Claudia and I am from Italy.
I just got my Pyschologyst licence and I've always worked with children, both in school and in community settings. I graduated in Community Psychology, Wellness Promotion and Social Change
I describe myself as a curious and sweet person, I'm also serious atwork as I always love putting all my effort in what I do.
I'm from a large family of six, plus 3 amazing nieces and 1 nephew, so I love spending time among people. I grew up sharing.. and caring!
I already completed 3 workaways and one volunteer project, in Europe (Spain, Portugal) , in Morocco, and in South America.
After high school I worked in a hostel as my first Workaway experience, in Barcelona, and I totally fell in love with the idea beyond it. The vibe and the internationality of my staying filled me with a lot curiosity about discovering this world as much as possible and the stories people tell.
In 2019 last year I I've got back from an exchange semester in Bogotà, where I enriched my studies and I got my Spanish pretty fluent! I loved my time there, I met beautiful people and got to know what a magical country Colombia is with its crazy and fascinating Latin culture.
After that I volunteered for an EcoLodge in a remote location on the West Coast of Morocco, where I worked as a bartender and entertainer of guests, plus got to know the authenticity of Berber culture and the warmth of the amazing locals I had the pleasure to work with!
In 2021 I workawayed in a sustainable community in Algarve, Portugal, where we lived into the nature, sleeping in tents, sharing the work with the other volunteers and where I had a magical time and met amazing people from all over the world. I was usually in the kitchen and cleaning team (we had to cook for 40-50 people each day) and keep the areas cleaned and nice :)
In 2022 I moved to the South of Brazil and I studied there and travelled for about 7 months. Since then I’ve been working with children and now I’m doing a sabbatical year before starting studying again as a Psychoterapist.
Right now I'm travelling looking for new skills!

During my experience traveling I had the chance to live with many people, sharing dorms, bed, tents, food, stories! tasks.. and I always tried to comethrough with an open mind and a big, kind heart.
I love cooking, especially for big groups. My speciality is Italian cuisine but I also like trying different type of recipes.
I have great social/communication skills and I enjoy guests entertainment. I have experience as waitress and as bartender, I worked as a receptionist, where I also cleaned the spaces and organize different activities. I also love working with kids.
I'd like to get some knowledge about agriculture, permaculture, sustanabiliy, animal care... But everything is welcome!

I feel fulfilled seeking new experiences, new cultures, new people, new habits... I love making the most of everything that happens to me, and putting all my heart in what I do. I always put all my effort in what I love. I like laughing with friends, making new ones, listening to stories and telling more!. I'm sensible and sensitive, but I'm also very practical, I like finding solutions to problems and I like team working. That's me briefly :)
I love spending time in the nature, walking, exercising, I like reading, drawing, and discovering the big world of spirituality and meditation.
