Hi! We are Chiara and Martina, two 19-year-old friends from Italy. We live in a small village in Umbria and have just finished high school. We've decided to take a gap year to travel around Europe.
We are two girls passionate about travel, nature, and new cultural experiences. We want to travel with Workaway because the experiences offered on the platform could help us gain clarity about some doubts we have about our future.
We are both open-minded girls, that want to challenge ourselves and step out of our comfort zone.

I (Chiara) have worked for a year in the food service industry, and I’m someone who enjoys hands-on activities. I know how to take care of a house, I can cook a little, and I enjoy doing small craft activities like painting. I'm also keen to learn how to take care of a garden and plants. I love animals — in fact, I have a dog and two cats.

I (Martina) am someone who loves being around animals. I mainly know how to take care of cats — I have 12 cats at home — and I also did horse riding for a few years. I enjoy being outdoors, i was a scout for about 10 years and I’ve also done some small gardening jobs.
