Hello! We are Bowie and Kennis, two energetic and cheerful friends born and raised in Hong Kong. We love exploring the world and creating new memories along the way!

Kennis is studying medicine in London, and Bowie is studying law in Hong Kong. While living in a bustling city, we greatly enjoy embracing nature and outdoor adventures during the holidays! Both of us are passionate about stepping out of our comfort zones, experiencing different lifestyles, and making friends from diverse backgrounds. We are also dedicated and proactive, looking forward to contributing meaningfully by completing various tasks and learning new skills. We are also excited to share our culture with you, from cooking Asian dishes to sharing our Chinese traditions and our language of Cantonese.

We can't wait to share this enriching experience with you!

Que habilidades tienes?

Last year, we had an incredible experience volunteering in a rural village in Fiji and Bali respectively, where we immersed ourselves in the local way of life. In Fiji, Kennis learnt hands-on farming skills, working in the rural mountains with little technology. In Bali, Bowie gained experiences in planting mangroves, building structure that support coral reefs growth, and cleaning sea turtles.

We're also a huge animal lover! Kennis has three cats at home and had pets such as dogs and guinea pigs in the past. Whether it’s feeding, grooming, or just giving them love, We’re always happy to help with animals.

We also love interacting with children! We have extensive experience in tutoring and organizing fun, creative activities for kids. One of the most memorable experiences we had was hosting arts and music workshops for children with cancer, where both the kids and I had loads of fun.

Moreover, we’d be more than happy to teach you Mandarin or our mother tongue, Cantonese. Also, we absolutely love cooking Asian dishes and would be happy to share our recipes with you.

We're not just looking for a free place to stay— we are dedicated to contribute meaningfully and are eager to continue improving our current skills while being open to learning new ones.

We are cheerful, energetic, and easy-going girls who love making friends from all backgrounds, cultures, and religions. We enjoy listening to people’s unique stories and learning about their lives, while also sharing our own culture and experiences.

Moreover, we really enjoy nature and exploring the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, cycling, kayaking, skiing or just going on new adventures.
