Descripción
I’m currently travelling solo from July-August and would love to meet kind, down-to-earth people, learn from different cultures and ways of life, and contribute meaningfully to the communities I spend time in.
My background is in psychology, although I am particularly interested in holistic healing modalities. I’ve worked for a non for profit mental health research charity, as a nanny, and currently teach university students in psychology. I’ve also recently trained in Compassionate Inquiry, a trauma-informed somatic therapy that helps uncover the beliefs and patterns that shape us.
I feel most at home around nature, good food, friendly people, and shared purpose. I love hands-on work like gardening or cooking, and I’m always up for meaningful conversation, creative projects, or simply being helpful wherever I can. I’m also a big believer in humour, care, and doing things in a way that feels human.
Through Workaway, I’d love to learn more about how people live intentionally, whether that’s through sustainable practices, shared living, traditional knowledge, or simply ways of being that value community, care, and connection. I’m especially drawn to places that invite reflection, creativity, and mutual respect, and I always show up with warmth, curiosity, and a willingness to contribute.Intereses

Que habilidades tienes?
I bring a mix of practical skills, care, and life experience grounded in psychology, community wellbeing, and hands-on support roles. I’ve worked across a range of settings – including as a nanny, support worker, university tutor, and admin assistant in a busy psychology practice – so I’m comfortable juggling responsibilities while staying calm, reliable, and warm.
Some of the things I can help with:
– Gardening and creating beautiful, calming spaces
– Cooking simple, healthy meals with care
– General house tasks like cleaning, organising, and basic DIY/painting
– Child minding and emotional support for kids (including neurodivergent or high-needs children)
– Admin support, emails, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes help
– Event or retreat set-up and people-focused support
I’ve also supported people one-on-one through Compassionate Inquiry, a trauma-informed approach that requires deep listening, intuition, and a grounded presence. Whether I’m supporting someone emotionally or helping out with practical jobs, I bring steadiness, care, and a can-do attitude.
I’m adaptable, respectful, and happy to either follow clear instructions or take initiative when things need doing. I enjoy working with others, but I’m also very comfortable working independently.
Most of all, I really care about showing up in a meaningful way and contributing to spaces built on trust, connection, and shared purpose.Edad

Algo más...
I’m someone who loves being in nature, swimming in creeks/ocean/rivers, walking barefoot on the earth, and being with animals. I find joy in simple, intentional living: cooking nourishing meals, journaling, and creating cosy, beautiful spaces.
At the same time, I’m an extrovert at heart, I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and connecting across cultures and walks of life. I value real, thoughtful conversations and shared experiences that bring people together.
I’m deeply interested in psychology, healing, and spiritual growth, and have completed year-long training in Compassionate Inquiry, a trauma-informed therapeutic approach, that’s shaped how I listen, relate, and hold space with care and curiosity. I’ve also spent time learning from decolonising approaches to wellbeing and am always drawn to ways of living that centre connection, reciprocity, and shared purpose.
Whether I’m chatting with someone new, helping out with day-to-day tasks, or soaking up the peace of nature, I try to bring warmth, openness, and a genuine willingness to learn wherever I go.Más información
