I was born in the Philippines (raised by my grandmother and extended family) and moved to the UK at age 9. I have a Masters degree Cancer Cell Biology and eager to learn and experience new things. I enjoy spontaneity and have done a lot of travelling myself. I enjoy movement and sports, and LOVE long-distance running, yoga and pole dancing! I also practice combat sports, being a Muay Thai competitor and a Blue belt in Brazillian JiuJitsu. I am motivated to study for Health, Fitness and Wellness and hope to study a PhD in Nutrition and integrative medicine in the future. I am a Healthcare Scientist and have been a Caretaker in the Hospital for 8 years while I was studying. I was also caring for my younger brother for 13 years. I love to help people and family motivates me to be better. I also paint and used to teach Arts and Crafts for the elderly with dementia at the care home and was a Science Teaching Assistant for a few weeks for 9-16-year old students before and during University. I enjoy reading philosophy and psychology books. Being in the sun and by the sea gives me utmost happiness.

As an auxiliary nurse for 10 years, I can look after sick people. I studied Biomedical science at University so I have biology and medical knowledge. I am Filipino and love to cook both Asian and European cuisine, keeping a healthy pescatarian diet. As I paint and draw, I can teach art and also practice yoga. Being sporty, I paddle board and can climb boulders. Working at the hospital as a carer, I am great at keeping my environment organised, sanitised and comfortable. I was also a waitress for two years and so I have hospitality experience in the tourism sector. I LOVE meeting new people and having adventures. I also have computer knowledge as acquired though my studies.
