I'm Agata, I was born and raised in Gdansk, Poland. I now live in Warsaw and it's my base for small adventures in a meantime.

I have a background in arts and interior design. Before coming to Australia, I've used to work as a UX/UI Designer, but have always been keen on the outdoors, animal care, gardening and DIY projects and I am pursuing this passion now.

I dream of having a house with a garden and animals. In the meantime, I do house and pet sitting when possible. I want to learn more about different ways of living and see how other people make it work. My friends would describe me as calm, responsible, but adventurous person who has a good hand for plants and animals.

Whenever I pet sit for someone, we tend to become friends afterwards.

I would love to help around your garden (weeding, watering, pruning and whatever else needs to be done). I also have some experience in horse care (worked in tourism in Iceland, took care od rescue horses in Poland and worked on a horse farm in Scone, Upper Hunter Valley, the horse capital of Asutralia). I am not afraid of new tasks (like pruning australian bush and showeling dirt) and I would love to learn more about ecological garden care, alternative architecture solutions and other topics like establishing community gardens, wildlife care and building DIY projects.

I'm in Australia now (Byron Bay area in NSW, heading to Queensland and Northern Territory later), which has always been a dream of mine and I can not wait to explore the nature and see how people live in this beautiful part of the world.

Que habilidades tienes?

- I can help you with space design,
- I am good with manual work, painting and general maintenance tasks,
- I don't like to sit around, so I will always find something to do,
- love animals and people tell me that I am good at caring for them,
- managed to grow dozens of pumpkins this summer!!,
- I can take care of a limping horse, put a bandage on a hoove, put ointment on if they get badly bitten by insects, so I guess this translates to other hooved animals and their cousins,
- I can figure out how to cooperate even with most disobedient dogs ( Czaslaw and Tito, looking at you!),
- can help you with majority of garden oriented tasks (weeding, pruning, eatering, cutting grass, harvesting, planting, you name it),
- I like to cook whenever I have time and space, it does not always work perfectly, but I still enjoy it and like to share these moments with others,
- I'm good with tasks that require manual precision, I was studying sculpture at some point and used to stare at pixels the whole day,
- I would love to start working outdoors full time and I still do not know enough, so I would love to learn more, which I tend to do quite fast.

I like to play board games during autumn and winter times, like Settlers for example.

I like to watch movies, new and old ones.

I tend to find seasonal hobbies, like crocheting or cross stitching, lamp making, pottery, sculpture, aquarelle painting, macrame making, house plant cultivation, Japanese bread making, cycling... to name a few 😉

  Vegetarian with fish, but if there is really no option for getting a vegetarian meal, I am fine with eating meat
