hello, my name is abi
i have grown up in sydney my whole life, but have always loved travel, in the last few years ive been to many countries in asia and am looking to connect to the culture more deeply.
i think i am the kind of person who is LOOKING for a challenge, and needs adventure, and loves a change.
i am hard working, very fun and have always been able to get along with anyone.

- have worked in a ski lodge overseas for a couple months, hired as an all rounder
- have worked in a hostel overseas aswell!
- previously worked in busy cantonese fusion restaurant and loved the feeling of improving peoples dining experiences
- i have had 2 full time years of working as a surgical assistant in operating theatres
- new places, exploring whether its alone or with strangers
- i am an avid rock climber, have climbed at a competition level since i was a child
- love to go out and dance to some tunes

im looking for some hard work, a deeper connection to a community, to meet new people, and to master a new skill :)

i have been studying japanese for 3 years in high school, and have continued outside of school it is one of my favourtie hobbies, and i have been to japan before and just knew it woudl be the language i would commit to. i love japanese culture, architecture, food and way of life am so very keen to live in japan and develop my language skills further my level now is begginner but i have mastered hiragana/katakana, know around 100 kanji, can read and write better than i speak (as i dont have many people to talk to) and definitely would get around easily in japan

i have been to many countries solo, and am confident in change, and problem solving and getting around in forgein places.

worked at a busy formal restaurant for 3 years as head runner and as a waitress
- Memorisation of many changing specials
- Verbal & written communication between kitchen, staff and patrons
- Personalised approach with details and organisation for customers
- love to work under pressure (serving on average 50 patrons simultaneously)
- Well developed prioritising skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and problem solve
- Leadership skills

currently work at a busy hospital in the operating theatres (nursing) as a scrub nurse and anaesthetic nurse full time
- just a quick outline of what that is:
i assist surgeons to do their surgeries in the sterile feild, assisting in maintinging their feild of veiw (retracting) setting up sterile equipment, passing tools, stopping bleeding, and recognising deterioration)
i also assist anaesthetic doctors to put patiuents to sleep for surgery - if you have ever had a surgery, thats my job! to come and collect you, bring you into the theatres, get you onto the table and off to sleep)

I am fully trained in basic life support, CPR, and have experience with handling Emergencies, my experience in an operating theatre could be very helpful in handling minor accidents or medical emergencies, ensuring you can assist until further help arrives or advise guests on what to do in case of injury.
Nursing requires me to care for people in stressful and vulnerable situations. As a waitress, ability to stay calm under pressure allows me to provide service perfectly under pressure of a busy period
In the operating theatre, im used to working under pressure and juggling multiple tasks at once. helping me in a fast-paced environment.
i have excellent communication skills, allowing clear communication is key for interacting with customers,
My attention to detail will be an asset for you as i have a keen eye and keep everything organised and always make my loose ends meet.

i am also i competitive rock climber, so any jobs needing muscles is no worries!!
im great at maths, great on the computer, and i love to help others!!
i can cook - but i wouldnt say my menu is very long.....
