Hey everyone

My name is Lubo. I was born in Slovakia, central east of Europe, after I finished my masters degree in Environmental science/Biology, I left my country. Did some working holidays (New Zealand, Canada,..), did some volunteering mainly in south and central America, using workaway but also I tried HelpX, so I was able to learn a little bit spanish and french during my travels and projects.
I spent few years full time working in Iceland where I hold temporary residence, but also working in Sweden. Nordic mentality, kindness and environment become something where I feel like at home.
So my plan is head back to Norway, looking for some place I can be helpful for couple of months and find a language school I can learn norwegian.

Free time mostly I spend with all kind of outdoor activities. From sports I love mountain running, biking, hiking or snowboarding and scuba diving. I am curious to try everything. I love to spend my time gardening in mostly my own place, its unlimited with experiments, improvements and knowledge you can get. Have a cup of tea in your own garden, enjoy your flowers, some sun and book, magical moment for me.

What I can offer for my future host?
I can work independently in all areas of farming, gardening, some basic carpentry tasks and land planning.
Some experience I have with fundraising, teaching kids ecology and english language.
With all my previous hosts I am still in touch as I like to be creative and bring something extra to the project, piece of myself.

Our modern lifestyle is all about the money. You can go to work tired or angry, you dont have to do the best everyday, sometimes is all about the salary.
Cut the money part out and find a project, farmstay or cummunity work anyway, youre gonna do it because you like it, it is your passion or you just want to help.
Everyone, in any age should try it at least once a life. Its beautiful living.
