Kia ora! I am Ye-Eun, a 29-year-old Korean New Zealander on a working holiday in Japan. I am passionate about making connections with other people through sharing food, culture and new experiences. I am always eager to learn new skills and learn from others. I enjoy working with children and like working in the great outdoors. I am looking forward to exploring the awesome winter slopes in Nagano or Hokkaido prefecture. I also love learning about Japanese cuisene and keen to try different recipes! My goal is to learn Japanese while I am here so language exchanges are welcome :)

I have many hobbies that seem to change over time but here are a few that are my go-to hobbies!
Music
I play the violin and piano although sadly I had to leave my violin behind. I have played with a Jewish Folk music band called the Klezmer Rebs in New Zealand.
Sports
I played social netball and a season of dragon boating with my work colleagues. I also like to run in my free time.
Boardgames
I love playing Catan, Citadels and Dominion.
