Hi, my name is Yan, I’m 23 years old and originally from Brazil. I’m traveling in Europe and volunteering and looking for meaningful cultural exchange rather than just tourism. I consider myself open-minded, easy going and adaptable. I enjoy meeting new people, learning languages i'm studing German, exploring nature, cycling, hiking, im general i like the countryside and i'm studying about music in my free time. For me workway It's an opportunity to see the lives of the local people and to be able to help in some way and learn something new from them.

I've volunteered on farms with maintenance and gardening activities such as cutting and pruning, also with animals.
I participated in renovation projects, and i did things like carpentry, painting, sanding.
Also experience with housework and entertaining children.
I worked for 6 months in a italian restaurant in Germany, so i basic knowledge of cooking.

I spent 15 days at Nicole and Sebastian’s house and it was definitely a good experience. I felt welcomed, especially by the children Bianca, Aurelia, and the baby Marinus. Yan stayed with us for 2 weeks, and it was a nice time.
At first, he lived with 2 other workys, then with only one, and at least, he was the only worky on the farm.
No matter, where we needed help, Yan did all the many different jobs, he was asked for to do.

I spent two weeks at Kriska’s farm, and it was a very good and productive time. We did many things, such as cleaning the stable where the horses live, maintaining the place where the chickens would stay during the winter, removing shrubs and branches, and other daily activities, which gave me the opportunity to learn new things.
