We have been hosting Workawayers since many years, and we have enjoyed the company of people in every age, from around the whole world.
I have been traveling a lot, arround the world. One of the most amazing trips was going through Zimbabwe, with my tent and backpack, through the whole country.
That's, why I love to share storys of other country's and travel experiences.
We live on an over 175 years old farm, together with people in all ages. We have an 20 years old cat, 8 chicken, 2 rooster, a 33 years old Pony with one eye, that lives on an other farm with other old ponys, and a big lovely dog. No matter, what you can do, here is always something to do, for everyone :D
The work always depends on the weather and the skills of the workys and can be outside ore inside.
Sometimes here are some people from all over the world, sometimes there is only one workawayer to stay with us. In the last years, always workawayers, who have been here before, come back to help and stay with us again. Our farm becomes like a second home.
You should like animals, nature and silence, if you like to stay here. It's no place for big party. Also respect our local food. We prefere simply, local food. The next bigger town is 15 km away.
We DON'T want to have phone junkies on our farm, we like to talk to the people, who join us and share their storys :)

A bright, newly renovated 20 qm room in our apartment, with its own, accessible bathroom. Kitchen, garden and more are used together. So, like in a WG :)
Ein helles, frisch renoviertes Zimmer in unserer Wohnung, mit eigenem, barrierefreien Badezimmer.
Küche, Garten u.s.w. werden zusammen genutzt. -

Our home is located on the peninsula Schwansen, between the Baltic Sea and Schlei-Fjord. The area here is gorgeous! We only expect that our guests like animals and love nature. What kind of work you can do, we will find out together :)

I stayed at Krischas place for 5 days and learned/understood a lot during this short but fruitful period. I appreciate her kindness, authenticity and honesty, it is very refreshing. He did hard work in the garden and took care of our horses. Also our dog and cat wanted to stay with him all the time.
Joshua is a very peaceful creature, with a genial humor ☺️ It was a pleasure to have him on our little farm.
