We are a married couple from the UK with a huge passion for travelling, being active, meeting and working with people, learning about different cultures, and social justice. Back home Troy is a primary school teacher who has lots of experience working with children and young people in different settings. Anna is a nurse who specialises in working with both adults and children with neurodiverse needs and is passionate about ensuring healthcare is accessible to all.

In our daily life, when we are not working, we love to spend time with our family, two beautiful goddaughters, and friends. We enjoy doing game/dinner nights or going out for food, drinks or coffees (which is a new-found love of ours from being in Vietnam as they have amazing coffee!). We also enjoy going to the gym and doing lots of outdoorsy things together, like hiking and swimming (when the British weather permits it).

Que habilidades tienes?

We are both hard working, resilient, compassionate and great at working with people. We are able to communicate effectively and sensitively with both children and adults. We are able to manage our time and stress levels well having experience in working in high pressure and emotionally demanding jobs. We are both extremely adaptable and love learning new skills and trying new things. Whilst on our last trip we picked up some experience working on a small family run farm for 3 weeks helping with childcare and general tasks around the site such as feeding the animals, cleaning out their pens, mowing the fields and gardening.

Troy is a very fun, creative, artistic, and friendly person who has always been told he has a gift for developing meaningful relationships with children and young people. He is active and has experience coaching a variety of different sports. Troy is also naturally musical, great with animals and has amazing problem-solving skills. He's also very handy with DIY jobs and keeping the house clean!

Anna is one of the most passionate, driven, kind and positive individuals who will give 110% to everything and everyone. She has lots of experience in working effectively with people in extremely distressing situations and is able to stay calm and focused while doing so. Due to her performing arts background, she is able to think outside of the box to creatively meet peoples' needs and make the process fun and enjoyable. She absolute loves all things food and is always trying and experimenting with new dishes and cuisines.
