Hi everyone :) My name is Sophie and I’m 18 years old.

I just graduated high school and now I’m looking forward to get out of my home town and travel the world!! I love learning about new cultures, meeting new people and experience their way of living. I believe that Language is the window to someone’s culture wich is why I think learning and exchanging different languages is and excellent way to learn something about new cultures. Exploring, trying out new things and being open minded to new things is party of who I am :))

I have a passion for everything that involves adrenaline like parachuting or a challenging hike but I can also be easily convinced to spend a relaxing day with a good book. Painting and experimenting with different art styles counts to one of my favourite hobbies as well as baking and cooking 😊

Growing up with a little sister and two younger cousins, I’ve always been good at caring for children besides of that, family has always been a big part of my life.
I value community, kindness, teamwork, liability and a spirit for adventure.

I'm excited to contribute, learn, and grow through Workaway whether it’s helping around the house, cooking, assisting with creative projects, caring for children or helping out in any way that’s needed.

Que habilidades tienes?

I’m a good cook as I’m usually the one responsible for cooking at home and I also love to bake even though I don’t have much time on my hands to do so :) I also like to keep my space clean and tidy and as the oldest daughter of a single mother I’m also familiar with helping around the house wether its laundry or mopping or caring for pets (we have a cat, had rabbits before and my aunt has some chickens we’re around sometimes).
In addition my own passion for arts and crafts makes it easy for me to help out with a variety of projects.
Gardening is something I grew up with just like child care since my grandparents don’t life far away and they have a big garden where I usually help out.
Besides of that, I did charity work with children for a few years where I taught kids in different age groups how to swim in my old swimming club.
I’ve also worked in our local shop, so I have some experience with costumer service and the work on checkout.

I’m a quick learner and always happy to add new skills to my list :)
