Hello !!
My name is Rachel and I’m a 29 years old woman from Montreal. I am fluent in English, but my first language is French. I am an ICU nurse, but right now I’m on 7 months sabbatical for travelling around Europe with friends for the first 5 months, then explore more of my country. My goal with my sabbatical was yes to travel with my friends but I knew before leaving I wanted to do a workaway experience to meet a new culture throughout a different way and meet new people and at the same time learn new skills.
In my free time, I enjoy doing outdoors activities such as hiking, swimming, cycling, camping and we could say bring in to the extreme.. such as ultratrail running ;) In a more relaxed way I enjoy reading, playing piano, walk with my dog and a bit of painting I could say, very beginner. :) I am a very family-oriented person and a animal lover. I always had animals and I really enjoy caring for them.

I’m French speaker, I would be happy to teach you some of my language.
Related to my work in healthcare, I consider myself empathetic and use to work with others persons in a team and helping each other. I’m use to work under pressure , follow protocol but at the same time I’m use to adapt every time since my job is always unpredictable. It made me a proactive, autonomous and hark work person!
In my studies, I did volunteering in a community Center. My job was to organize activities with people coming, like « tea time », doing activities with people that had intellectual disability, cook meals!!
