Descripción
Hi there! We are a couple, Punch and Ali, ages 26 and 24.
Punch is from Thailand and Ali is from Scotland. Both of us are MSc Sustainable Energy Systems students with a passion for renewable energy and practical solutions to protect people and the environment. We would both like to learn French, Punch is a beginner and Ali is an intermediate speaker.
Ali has a love of gardening, DIY, and all things water. His mum has her own rewilding project where Ali has helped establish water (using a stream into an water tank) and has dug a few ponds for wildlife and water storage. Ali helps his mum look after 400 new trees through mulching and watering. Ali has also done a bit of DIY (plumbed in a shower + sanding and treated floors). Digging ponds in Scottish winter is not for the weak! Ali is also a qualified English TEFL teacher.
Punch is a great chef and general kitchen boss. She will bring many new amazing recipes to your workaway, and keeps a very tidy kitchen. Punch's family used to breed and sell kittens in Thailand, so is very good with animals. Punch is a great artist and keen painter. Punch is always keen for a day in Ali's mum's field - this is where we got the idea for a workaway!
