My name is Nathan, 33 years old and I am half Swiss and half Brazilian but I was born and raised in Switzerland. For several years I worked as a social worker, but I am currently taking a break from work as I am in a phase of life where I want to change direction, travel and have new experiences.
Volunteering with Workaway would be my first experience, and I am really motivated to learn and to help.

I love training at the gym, walking in the nature, surfing and reading. I am an easy going, open-minded person who enjoys discovering new cultures, food, and meeting new people.

I have a background as a trained gardener and experience with gardening. I also worked for many years with people with disabilities, which helped me develop empathy, patience, and a sense of responsibility.
