Hello! We are Momoka and Takaaki from Japan. We're 27 years old.We are a married couple.

Momoka's Profile--------
I’d like to make friends who are from different countries and talk about different cultures.
The reason why I try to do Workaway is that I’d like to have an opportunity to stay with people in different culture.
I look forward to talking and eating meals with you all.

I love agriculture, and while studying agriculture at university, I grew vegetables in the field and also received training at farmers all over Japan.
I also like animals. My family has a dog.
I have helped cattle farmers and pig farmers.
I am good at cooking and can make Japanese food.
I like children and I worked as a librarian in elementary and junior high schools in Japan.
As a Boy Scout, I also did outdoor activities and camping, so I am physically fit.

I can’t speak English fluently, but I can have a daily conversation.
I’d like to make friends who are from different countries and talk about different cultures.
So, I’m studying English hard.

Takaaki's Profile--------
Hello! My name is MOGI TAKAAKI. I used to work in marketing and as a writer in Japan. Through Workaway, I hope to meet new people, learn about different cultures, and experience local life around the world.

I have a cheerful personality and enjoy talking with people. I like working together while communicating well with hosts and other volunteers. I always try to be responsible, keep my promises, and finish what I start.

I also love children and animals. When I was a student, I often joined local camps with kids in my community, so I’m comfortable spending time with children.

Hiking and camping are my hobbies, so I have good physical strength. I once walked 100 kilometers in a day during my student years. I was also a member of the Boy Scouts, where I gained experience in both camping and volunteering. I have a driver’s license as well.

My native language is Japanese, and I can speak English at a conversational level. I’m still learning English and would love to improve it by speaking with people from different backgrounds.

I’ve traveled to the United States, Greece, Turkey, and South America. One of my favorite experiences was visiting Machu Picchu. I’m very interested in learning about cultures that are different from Japan, and I want to respect and take part in the local way of life wherever I go.

Through Workaway, I hope to learn more about daily life, food, and traditions in each country. I’m happy to help with anything I can—cleaning, cooking, playing with children, gardening, and more. I enjoy trying new things and always do my best. I value being proactive and helpful, not just waiting for instructions.
