We Megi and Jack, a couple from Liverpool England aged 28 and 30, currently travelling around Southeast Asia. We’ve worked hard in hospitality the last few years to save for a long trip away, and want to supplement our travels with some Workaway experiences in Asia whilst we’re here. We both love the outdoors, cooking, meeting people and soaking up culture.

Megi grew up on a organic self sufficient farm in Latvia until moving to the UK aged 9, and since then has Au Paired in Spain, travelled all over Europe and beyond, is bilingual and has experience in care. Megi studied Graphic Design & Illustration in university and to this day still uses her creative flare to express her art through sketchbooks. and now ready to soak up some Asian culture whilst giving back in any way possible.

Jack has travelled the US, NZ and Canada for the last 10 years. In that time he’s worked on a summer camp, been a support worker, lifeguard, bartender, and done plenty of odd jobs in between. We’re both incredibly hard working, adventurous, kind and chatty people who’re up for absolutely anything. New challenges are exciting, and we’re both fast learners. We’re looking for opportunities anywhere in Asia - we can cook and clean, both love animals, are caring and supportive, have lots of experience in restaurants and bars, we aren’t squeamish and won’t shy away from tough jobs physically or mentally.

Que habilidades tienes?

We can both do general basic farm work, house work, outdoor/garden work, we LOVE to cook and are massively into food and drink. Because of our hospitality background we have a natural eye for doing things to the best standard and caring for everything we do.
One thing we're good at is finding the fun in everything, we won't shy away from any task, and we'll always have a smile on our face.
If there's anything to do with guest relations, communicating with people and ensuring anybody is well looked after, then we are your people.

Megi is super creative artistically, and we're both very tech-savvy, good with computers, cameras, editing, and putting things together aesthetically; whether it be day to day vlogs, videos and pictures, or art projects.

We have lots of experience in care, in particular looking after vulnerable individuals, from personal care to entertainment and cooking - we're both compassionate, loyal and empathetic. Megi's also great with languages, and has a background in office admin, and Au Paired for a year in Spain teaching English to a Catalan family. Jack looked after adults and children with developmental disabilities in America for 5 summers.

We're both physically able, sporty and adventurous, love being in the outdoors and definitely will not be scared of working outside or doing manual labour.
