Hello!
We’re Méganne and Simon, a French couple in our 30s.
**Update – Nov 2025: After more than 10th different Workaway experiences, we’ve realized how much we appreciate clear expectations, what you expect from us and what you offer in return.
Yes, we are independent and autonomous, but we truly want to do things the way you prefer, to avoid misunderstandings or frustrations on either side. That’s why we often ask detailed questions and request a video call before committing.
Oh, and we also are not vegetarian, so eating meat is totally fine with us. 😊

About Méganne:
• Former veterinary assistant and daughter of a farmer (10 years ago)
• Spent time in Australia (7 years ago) driving tractors and working on dairy farms.
• Has over 20 years of horse-riding experience, with the last 10 years focused on Western and natural horsemanship.
• Speaks French, English, and Spanish.
• Has a solid background in customer service and is highly organised.

• A civil engineer with experience on various construction projects.
• Passionate about hiking, nature, and outdoor adventures.
• Skilled in IT and computers.
• Simon enjoys playing chess and performing magic tricks

What We’re Looking For:
We’re not just seeking accommodation, we’re hoping for a genuine cultural exchange and immersion in your family life.
We are respectful, polite, organised, non-smokers, and good cooks.
We’d love to stay with a family who wants to include us as part of their daily life, ideally offering a private room and shared meals.
We enjoy board games, good conversation, and we’re not addicted to social media (no Instagram!) or TV. A stable internet connection would be appreciated, though, for staying in touch with family and planning our travels.
We’d ideally like to be in a mild climate (minimum 10–15°C), working 4–5 hours per day on average, with 2 days off per week, which feels like a fair and balanced setup for us.

Francisco’s farm is located about 1 hour from Santiago and 40 minutes from the airport. You can take a taxi or Uber (not always easy) for around $25, otherwise take the bus.
Francisco goes to Santiago every Tuesday and Wednesday, and you can go with him.
