Hi! We are Massimiliano and Carlotta from Italy, we have been together for almost 2 years and we love to travel. Fortunately, we found out about Workaway a year ago from friends, and we finally decided to join the CLUB! : ) We would love to see new places, meet people from other cultures, and enrich each other's lives. We think that this way of traveling matches our lifestyle, as we are easygoing and curious guys .
Starting with me, Massimiliano, I'm a 25 years old guy born in Grosseto (Tuscany) and currently I'm studying Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sustainability (master degree ) in Siena. I have a diploma as a mechanic and a bachelor degree in Environmental and Natural Sciences. I also spent 3 months in Aveiro (Portugal), where I worked in a research lab.
My passions are many, such as being with my wonderful girlfriend and traveling together, laughing and making people laugh, wandering in nature and preserving it. I love animals and plants, photography, surfing and fishing, as well as canoeing, painting, listening to music and finding joy in every little-big thing. My main skills are: being able to cook, knowing and interpreting nature, working on metal, wood and gardening, having patience and being able to work on everything with some tips. I have no problem with kids, that usually love me, and the same is with pets : )
Now it's my turn! I'm Carlotta (age 22). I just got a degree in communication done in Florence and I'm planning to continue my studies in the humanities/social field. I am currently taking a break but I feel like helping out other people, discovering new places and cultures. I have always been fascinated by everything related to human expression in all its artistic forms: I did a high school in fine arts and had experience in circus arts. My main passions are painting and DIY, literature and photography. I love being in contact with nature and animals. I am a quiet, sensitive and creative girl, curious to discover other people's stories and share thoughts. I am curious where this adventure will take me together with my boyfriend Massimiliano with whom I want to share my emotions.
