Hi there! My name is Maaike (26 years old) and I'm from Utrecht (Netherlands). I live here with two friends, studied history and now enjoy working in a bar/beer garden where people play pingpong.

I've been volunteering at several places throughout Europe since 2017, each wonderful and unique locations which taught me many things and resulted in beautiful experiences. They were mostly farmstays and I really enjoyed working in the fields, learning about permaculture, regenerative agriculture and sustainable building. Community lifestyle is of great value to me. Co-creating and sustaining a community with different people from all around the world is something magical.

My friends would mainly describe me as a happy, social, enthusiastic and caring person.
In my free time I like being outdoors (camping, swimming, skating) listening to live music and reading a good book!

I would like to help with farming, gardening, cooking, householdings or administration of tourists! If you had something a bit different in mind, don't worry; I'm a quick learner and can work hard!

Last year I worked at a couple farms where I helped with gardening, taking care of animals, preparing foods in a professional kitchen, maintaning, painting jobs and creative activities for kids.

Had two wonderful weeks here thanks to Dhiraj and Luz! They make you feel at home, comfortable and valued right away. It was amazing to be part of their family for a while with the other volunteers.
