Hello / 你好 , I’m Mai/麥, a Set Dresser passionate about storytelling, both on and off the screen.

As a Set Dresser in the film industry, I bring scenes to life by carefully curating the details that make a story feel real—from furniture to props, every item tells its own tale. My work has given me a deep appreciation for aesthetics, history, and the unique character of places, which inspires me to explore the world in my free time.

During the vacation, you’ll often find me immersed in literature, jotting down my thoughts in writing, or strolling through art museums to soak in creativity. I also love discovering traditional cuisines, exploring architectural wonders, and taking long, reflective walks to absorb the essence of a place.

To me, travel is about connecting with people and cultures on a deeper level. Workaway offers a unique chance to build those connections, and I'd be happy to meet hosts who can share their local spots or traditions.
