My name is Kelsey (age 34) and I am traveling Latin America learning about local agriculture systems and practicing my Spanish language skills. Originally from the USA, I have spent many years traveling and working internationally, including three years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi (mostly doing sweet potato cultivation and reforestation) and, until recently, a contractor for USAID.

I have also done a lot of volunteering with WWOOF in different countries over the last several years, but Work Away seems more popular in Central America, which is why I do not have many reviews on my profile (but I can provide links to social media so you know I am a real person). I enjoy reading, eating sweets, yoga, and gardening in my free time.

Spanish Language: I am a beginner but will be taking an intensive language course soon, after which I hope to be much improved and even more excited to chat with anyone who doesn't mind a little broken grammar.
