Hi, I'm Jan Philip and I'm on here to step out of my routined life once in a while.
I get motivated if I can contribute to something meaningful and useful that makes a difference for people. Especially when it comes to projects that somehow make use of nature's resources in a sustainable way.
I feel happy when I can lose myself in (mostly physical, not digital) work that demands my full attention. I love solving problems, especially when it comes to crafting things. Falling asleep after a good day of physical work is priceless.

Que habilidades tienes?

My main skills are:
- working as a videographer from start to finish (that's what I do for a living), also photography
- woodworking: working with different tools, e.g. saws (circular, chain...), love to build my own furniture
- calculating stuff (I study constructional engineering)
- working with all kinds of tools regarding metal, timber, gardening, forestry, farm

other, maybe handy, skills
- working with clay and other natural materials (grew up when my parents built a house of natural materials)
- I did some tractor driving in the past
- I get around with single axle trailer towing
- working with disabled people (got some 6 weeks experience in that)
- come around with computers quite good. especially mac.
- some CAD experience
- sailing (I don't know if that would come in handy at any point)
- straightforward problem solving. my mother says, thats why I've got to be an engineer
- a little experience with welding and soldering
- some understanding of fundamental electronics (I can wire a lamp or get a simple electric machine to run)
- some experience in measuring with construction measurement tools

I'm here to learn. I wanna learn all the skills that you have to offer and always bring an open ear to the table.
I love to cook from time to time. Being around inspiring people is crucial to me, but I don't need 24 h company, I need to regenerate from social input, so I value my time alone as well.
I love being around animals and I grew up with two siblings.
Although I'm not a dad, my jokes tend to go there :)
Right now I'm really much into woodworking and also 3D-Printing. I think, using the technological advantages of our time can really help us build amazing things, especially if you can pare that with natural materials like ceramics, timber etc.
