Hi, my name is Gabriel but you can call me Gabe. I come from Brazil, did my high school in Canada and just finished my studies in Germany while doing a couple of trips. I am realizing that slow-travel is the way to go for me and that's how I came across workaway. I would describe myself enthusiastic, outgoing and adventurous but those words sound empty when I write in a text box. My main Hobby is DIY and repairs at the moment, but I am also into many sports, recently got into taking photos and videos and would like to get back into music. My goal here is towards experiencing a more genuine and sustainable lifestyle.

During my university, I worked for a group called Circular Community and my main task was to lead Repair Cafés once a month, where people repair furniture, bicycles, electronics and textiles. Also there was the opportunity to do a lot of upcycling, so most of my furniture was built from "waste".
Photos and videos, sports and music are hobbies pursued from feel, so I have no professional knowledge.
