Hi my name is Andreas,
I love to travel and explore countries and also to learn new cultures and people.

I love nature and are very close to it.
My favorite countries which I traveled were: Norway (Tromso, Narvik), Scotland, Japan, Alaska and the last adventure trip was a husky sleigh trip over the Russian Ural mountains.

I have also a lot of other Hobbys, some of them are:
Gardening, repair electric stuff like smartphones Tablets and other household things, building and inventing stuff like toys or requisites, cooking, baking, playing American football, Kung Fu (Ving Tsun self defence).... How you see I'm very into most everthing XD
I'm also a movie and serials junkie ☺️

Now something to my job and what I do for living:
I'm a chemical master and work for a Pharma-Concern. But that doesn't make me happy at all. So I also work as a Security-Guard and meet many of different people and had also plenty of places where I was as a Security-Guard.

Why I choosed Workaway:
I want to live for a longer period of time and get experiance in a different country.
Iceland is also attractive, because I'm very into the nordic mythology and history.
As well I also really like to learn new languages so as Icelandic, I like the sound of it and want to learn it.

Update 2024:
I stayed now for a bit longer then two years in Iceland, where I worked at my first host on a dairy farm. And I loved and love it.

But now I want to travel again.

At the first time I'm very shy and introverted, but afte a short period of time and some icebreakers I like to do things with the people.
I like to play board games or go hiking in the wild as example

Bin erstmal meist zurückhaltend, aber wenn ich die Leute besser kenne, taue ich schnell auf und unternehme gerne etwas.
Gesellschaftsspiele oder gemeinsame Wanderungen und unternehmungen bin ich stets dabei.

Freue mich immer neue nette Menschen kennzulernen :)
